OpenBVE NYC Subway T Line Dead Head from Tottenville to Prince's Bay using an R160 Alstom
The is a fictional T line of the NYC Subway that uses the right of way of the Staten Island Railway. There have been other videos showcasing this line as it is a work in progress. This video demonstrates the fact that it is possible to show a viewing distance much greater than the 600 meters set in the program. Additionally surrounding vegetation is now more realistic, and the line has been expanded as far as Seguine Avenue in Prince's Bay. Excellent views of the full train yard, apartment buildings and houses along the line. A good mix of fictional and actual structures.

OK here we go. I was successful in getting a train to run on my fictional OpenBVE T Line route. There is some stuttering, but that should be expected on a nearly 10 year old laptop. The secret to getting a running version is having my route file support varying degrees of resolution for both background and ground images. In the code it is possible to set resolution to 480p, 720p, and 1080p for ...

It come to hit me😢😢😢
WIP?
Beautiful recreation, coming from a former NYer! I wish we could buy MTA trains in N scale!
R1?
The thirdrail is the complete piece of this detail work 👌
Joe out did himself with this new layout as his previous layout was superb and to die for as he's the undisputed KING of O-scale NYCTA subway model layouts as he builds everything from scratch (kit bashed) including the tunnel signals. Just brilliant indeed!
Bruh I just miss the fucking train
SCP 052?!
Scott 052??
If planning to visit NYC, go to the Transit Museum in downtown Brooklyn or the MTA Gift Shop in Grand Central Station, Manhattan. You may find these model trains. 🙂
as someone who lives in Manhattan, i’ve seen these trains plenty of times before.
1. A lot of time and patients to do all that. 2. Must have been a pretty penny to get that particular train model. 😁👍🚉
Nice video🎉
駅とかに集中してたせいで屋根がついてないとは思わなかった(((
Cleanest and safest nyc metro station
Nice the R1! A very good celebration.
Will you be building the entire route on your own, or will you have a group of developers to help you out?
On my own
nah NYC subways are dirty so this isnt it
dang, this is sick! Is there a long video of this?

they need to add r160b or a f train it wod be so cool
NONE of the 'newest' subway models are available and haven't been for YEARS from MTH or even Lionel. Believe me, Joe, myself and all of the other O-scale subway modelers have wanted the newer trains as models all the way up to the R211, but that hasn't happened yet and probably will not for a variety of reasons...
Vintage trains are here to the museum
Me:sees the train coming my way * my brain: STAY

Now I'm going to watch the train dodge clip in the movie Stand By Me.
cleannn
You should showcase more content like this! I really like the route so far
Those trains had the odor of axle grease back in the 1970's when they were taken out of service.
THAT'S what I vividly remember about riding the R9 the smell and the noise or sounds it made!
@@bhigdaddymark And the "humming" sound it made at the station stops.
Nice work
