I think you are still trapped in wrong concepts of what Strength and Leadership means in terms of manhood. What I heard on your podcast just echoed all the old, traditional ideas. Sorry but I believe you just did more harm than good. Maybe from lack of experience. Maybe because you are locked in your ideas and values. But you did not touch on what male strength is about. I think strength and leadership in a relationship from a man's perspective is like walking point on patrol. Walking point means you have to navigate and determine the route for the rest of the platoon/family to follow. It also means that if you pick the wrong route, you take the responsibility and blame. Walking point also means you are the first to encounter danger and you have to do your best to not lead the family into danger. Being a man means chartering a course and leading your family to God. To bear accountability to God of what your family is doing. It also means of scouting ahead and trying to protect your family from danger. If a man does his Job of creating a safe, Godly space for his family, the family can prosper. It is not about not crying. It is not about "THE JOB" It is not about the salary vs staying at home. I was in a situation where my wife and me had to make a very hard medical decision. The doctor and my wife was discussing the issue. I was busy with my own thoughts. So after a while the doctor asked: "So what is the decision" Then she, the doctor, and my wife looked at me. I realised in that moment that I could make the call and with it forever shoulder the blame if it went wrong. But - and this is important - in doing so I would absolve my wife of any blame. Or I could "pass the buck" and deflect the question. Do I burden her or do I burden myself. That is where strength is tested. Shoulder the burden or pass the buck. I believe true man's strength lies in how he shields his family and creates a positive environment. Not in his salary or his physical strength or his lack of crying. Spiritually and emotionally, I believe, a man needs to walk point for his wife and kids. Look at Reese Witherspoon ranting in this clip: ruclips.net/video/qqPAe0s4yNk/видео.html "What do we do" does not express the inability of women to think about solutions. It expresses the fact that men should take the final decision and with it the blame/accountability/blame It expresses the fact that women enable men to take their place and do their work by allowing them to to carry that role Films carry a sort of "shorthand" /"caricature"/"cliche" of reality in that they will use a set phrase like this to encapsulate a whole convoluted thought process. The director and script writer simply assumes the audience understands this. Reese demonstrates her lack of understanding very publicly in this speech. She does not understand the concept of "walking point". Something all these men in the films are doing. And exactly why we admire those men. She has clearly never experienced a father or male figure that displayed real Godly values and strength. The fact that she is offended by this helps to highlight the yearning in her for that strength. Her Cry highlights the void of the Father in her heart and her life. Sorry guys, but I believe this podcast of yours did more harm than good.- see the previous 2 comments Please re-visit the subject but get external input this time.

I have to ask about your discussion about stay at home men. So what would you say about a disabled man not being able to provide outside the home because of physical or mental limitations? Your discussion seems to be stating that he can't be a true man because he is at home and may not be able to be the primary money earner in the family.

Jesus resurrected for like 30 days, BUT only talked to 2 people, then was announced officially dead. Huh… that’s suspicious, that’s weird.
Humans are fools

This Podcast truly blesses my soul. I listen to each episode over and over again and I can say to GOD be the glory, I am becoming a better man to my wife, our children, and my job. May the LORD continue to bless you fellas, Thank you! Keep going might men.
Yessir, two weeks from 17 years in real estate. closing day is a blessing. The time away from them, the sacrifices made to make sure the customers come first and her patience during the lean times, she's deserving of all I have to give.
God doesn't exist. God is an imaginary thing created by primitive people from long ago, in an effort to explain things that they were afraid of and didn't understand, like death and how people came to be.
You sir are on 2 suptin really BIG
Yes, the old "faith is not strong enough" chestnut. Churchgoers don't count against the churches numbers IF, wait for it, they count against the churches numbers.
So True. This saddens me for the men that aren't doing what they should.
Amen Thank you
What is all this yap
WRONG!!!!
Needed this Encouragement!
What a good Word
There is no god
I know God knows what is in everybody's heart. Sometimes even better than they know themselves. I know God shows up in nature all the time but most don't, can't or won't understand what they are looking at. I know that no matter how much time you put into it, God will not remove the Free Will of another just because you pray for it. It is better to pray for guidance and wisdom to help that person find their way.
Where in the hell are your socks?? Gross
Not me!
