    As I said earlier, I am not a fan of Jason Whitlock. However, are you telling us that he does not have a constitutional right to free speech? Who are you to tell another man how to speak? I'm in agreement with you that I don't like a lot of what comes out of his mouth. But as a man, who are we to tell him to shut up or talk another way? Based on your criteria, you would have censored Jesus Christ, who often said things that the powers-that-be did not like at all, that moved them to kill him.

      @private-nobody6667 on the eye poke she did it on purpose she didn't do it on purpose we can't prove either one. I believe she didn't do it on purpose because everything in sports happens incredibly fast and to intentionally poke someone's eye like that let's be real lol. This is the league by the way that people have clowned for missing layup and fumbling plays, but now she has the precision to poke Caitlin in the eye mid jumpshot? And to your point he doesn't work for ESPN he USED to. So ESPN gave this clown a platform to begin with. And he can have a correct take but a broke clock is right twice a day but that doesn't make up for the hate he spews. So you're talking to me about free speech when I'm exercising the same how it is any differen? LOL. I never said he's not allowed to have an opinion. I just think his sucks so now what? You want to support him bringing sexuality or calling people ghetto or bringing up tattoos in a basketball convo? Like I said in the video listening is key. He can have the opinion just like you do that Carrington poked her in the eye intentionally. All his other comments are disrespectful and out of line and I'm exercising my free speech and calling it out.

  • @private-nobody6667
    @private-nobody6667 3 дня назад

    Not a fan of Jason Whitlock myself, however, on this one I do agree with him. DC's act to poke CC's eye was intentional. On the slow mo from X, follow the hand. It started out open, fingers spreaded. At the top of the swing, we see DC bunching her fingers into a point, and dipped DOWNWARD to stabbed CC's eye. Believe your eyes, my friend. Regarding CC's comments about the assault, she did so without seeing the angle that was shown on X. I would like to see someone ask her that question again after she seen that video. DC's hand movements, to take a spreaded hand and convert it into a point, was not a basketball play. I have not seen one commentator or content creator point out this salient fact. That observation seals the deal to show intent. Who in basketball history have you seen that done?

    Caitlin Clark is 2024 ROTY & 2024 MVP!❤ AFTER 39 Games, Caitlin's Stats: Point Average Per Game: 38.07❤ Total Points Produced: 1,484.8 (ACHIEVED After 28 Games)❤ % of Total Points Produced per Total Team Points: 44.89%❤ MVP = MOST VALUABLE PLAYER NOT BEST but can be. Caitlin leads the league in TOTAL POINTS PRODUCED, which is the BEST metric that INDICATES the VALUE of a player to her TEAM. SINCE MID-JUNE, Caitlin & the Fever have been RANKED #1 OFFENSIVE team. Also, in stats for best player, which can be extended to MVP, is there any way to record the amount of blitzing Caitlin has had to endure this season, which also happens to be her ROOKIE season? How much Caitlin has grown in only 4 months, her ROOKIE season in the wnba, is nothing short of AMAZING. What is an even bigger WONDER is how much, through Caitlin's influence, the Fever Team has IMPROVED!❤ One more thing to consider for MVP, why is Caitlin #1 on the scouting reports and NOT A'ja? Hmmmmm NOTE: Caitlin & the Fever Team RELY SOLELY on their TALENT to WIN Games. The Aces Team, in CONTRAST, EMPLOY the HELP of BIASED OFFICIATING to WIN their games.😮 Caitlin Clark is 2024 ROTY & 2024 MVP.❤

    I’m happy you got to spend time with your family that sounds like it was a good time! Tibbs I think is your championship coach. He has found his tribe and hasn’t done that since drose. This group fits a little better with him they can be healthier this year they are friends and the players and coaches will fight for eachother. I think you got your coach no knock to muezulla but he isn’t any much better than tibbs. Yall got a lot of motion rn. I think team USA is exactly what went down in women’s all star game. The USA teams are chilling then the other side has a point to prove. Ogwumike/sudan and other teams want to prove team USA not like that and they belong/can take em down. This team is old and has to pace themselves so my criticism won’t come til they start disappointing when it matters. Also you are right it’s political but I don’t think in the same way. We need a team not names. This roster is names that do the same thing. Even if ky or Jaylen on the team that’s more guys that do the same thing. IMO Trae, Ja , Jalen Brunson(if healthy) should’ve took Hali spot and Scottie/Paolo really Scottie should’ve been on over khawi and dwhite. He offers something else everyone else doesnt and he has youth, energy, size, and versatility. KD should’ve been replaced if he can’t play. Haven’t watched Embiid closely but we could have gotten a better for the team/more healthy robert Williams, Jabari smith, jjj, or another name and let em bring in competition and raise the intensity even if they dont stay. We have to read the room this is no disrespect but these other teams are teams are not just names. Dennis, thies, Hernangómez brothers. These are good players but they fit and make sense not just names. We need to do the same as well. We don’t need big names for the sake of big names. Kurr is over coaching. Agree! It’s not hard and he needs to adjust. He said I’m committed to starting embid. Enough said. I think the way he handled Poole and kuminga are telling. He is validating his criticism. I’ve been really thinking about rim protection. I felt they were all wrong. I think a rim protector is someone who protects the rim, shuts down paint, has to be though about not feared, etc. I thought their convo was very surface level. There are multiple ways that you can protect the rim. Draymond, Kevin love, and Kyle Lowry are three the did it unconvincingly. These three have done it by smart/hard fouls, walling up, blocks, steals,strips/delfections, charges, good/smart/early/correct rotations, banging/fighting,rebounding, changed shots, jump ball, fakes/stunts, etc. you don’t need to be feared. These are professional athletes and put in work if you are fearing people your minds in wrong spot. I don’t fear capela or b Lopez but they are rim protectors. Also if you always have to say you aren’t thinking about someone saying you aren’t scared imma assume you are. Rim protection is a group project and a mindset. Everyone should rim protect but not everyone is a rim protection. To me it’s easy to determine if I could ask you or rely on you to stop people at the rim you are a rim consistently you are a protector at some level. Watch “Kyle Lowry drawing charges 2019-20” by always hooping. That proves my point. It’s typically a 7”0 guy but there are other ways to get it done. Guys have to think about were Kyle is at while headed to rim the same way they do for a shot blocker. He also is standing exactly where shot blocker would be and stopping em. We can consistently rely on dwhite to turn back 1-3 guys at the rim. That’s rim protection. He may not be the best but he is a rim protector at some capacity since you can consistently rely on it. He said Aaron Gordon and Gianni’s are and they do it exactly like Bron. I know Bron is a rim protector because he will a lot of times switch of ball to remain in corner and closer to the rim. Where he will rotate to make a play/stop. He is know for the chase down block which couldn’t be anything other than rim protection. If wemby and kd can be a gaurds little guys can provide/be a rim protector.

    You made a great point I never thought about that. That was a very great insight. Before you made your points I thought yes everyday you should be with a trainer or group of guys. I would only go by myself if it was a time I just randomly went for more work or an intentional one. It’s good to workout without music or people sometimes so you can function without those things. You can get more done, when training with another player you can compete and go live, and you have more minds and knowledge to tap into. But I was thinking about it from having a good crew that they work with. Not everyone understands what a player needs, what he should be doing what his team needs, and the nuances you talked about. I say find one of those guys that do and don’t leave their side. For me as well I would like the trainer to train all levels. I think that means they are always learning and staying sharp. Rico Hines, Phil handy, Kobe, melo, nick nurse, muzuella are a few off the top of my head. Those guys I would try to work with all the time only going by myself intentionally. Those guys are what you said and if you have that use it but like you said some of these other trainers are too much. I also believe whoever got you there is who you need to spend atleast 30 percent of your time if you guys are still able too. Guys like ja morant or Emoni bates have great sources. I know that they can’t give you or elevate to an nba level but they got you there for a reason and a lot of the time they instill good mindsets. I got to see Emoni cause we grew up in the same city a lot of people had things to say about his team and his training but it worked so I say stick with what’s working even if it’s just debriefing after a game keep that going. Also since they put that much work in they should feel like they made it too cause they did. I agree players should stay away from podcast they talk too much. Duncan Robinson the Knicks and Chris Boucher do it the right way but some other guys should just shy away especially pg. if you not winning I don’t wanna hear your entitled delusion why you should get a max or your excuses for losing.

    This team is composed of 4 of the 75 greatest NBA basketball players of all time and a number of today's best players of the game. This team, the 2024 Olympic Basketball team, is the seal-team six of basketball. With a team of that magnitude, while coaching is undoubtedly important, it's the kind of team that do not necessarily need a general to make the step by step decision on the basketball floor. Remember, it's a team designed not only to win but to win dominance. Admittedly, the basketball world has caught up to the US. But regardless, the game against South Sudan, leaves a lot of doubt. The team seems to lack the mamba mentality among it's players. High raise to Lebron for making the game winning shot but over-all, but luck it seems had more to do with the win rather than the team's performance. But a win is still a win. I hope the team delivers victories with a stronger punch and a whole lot of sweetness.

    • @elijahhutchings7947
      @elijahhutchings7947 2 месяца назад

      We acknowledge the team is old but not really taking into account what that means. These guys need to be at mvp levels for the season and be producing at hung level for the actual Olympic games. That means they need to pace. These other teams are younger and have things to prove while playing us. They can afford to give more now. I agree with what you said a win is a win, Steve needs to do better but everyone should be patient with criticism and trust em til they prove we can’t

With Steve Kerr I'm not really taking into account this 1 game. I'm more so looking at the way he's managed his stars with KD wanting out Dray and Poole situation and now Klay leaving. Granted he doesn't get all the blame but being the coach and one of the leaders of the team has he mismanaged his stars and their personalities. Now he has a USA team with all the stars. Are you a Luka hater or just get your views from certain mainstream sports media? Luka doesn't dribble the ball forever. He dribbles until he has a lane, a shot, or someone gets open. It's actually a smart strategy to not always be trying to sprint to the rim. Luka and the Mavs may take the shot clock to one second left on three consecutive plays, but then follow it up with two fast plays. It's keeps the defense off balance. Actually watch some Mavs' games, because receives a lot of unfair criticism. He should have won MVP last year. He basically averaged a 34-point triple-double and finished 7th in steals and took the 5th seed Mavs all the way to the NBA Finals by beating the 4, 3, and 1 seeds in the Western Conference and he did that all with a laundry list of injuries (they also beat the number 2 seed, Nuggets, shortly before the playoffs started in a must-win game for both teams). In the playoffs he had the most points, rebounds, assists, and steals. He's only the second player to ever do that. The only other one was Jokic last year. In the NBA Finals he had the most points, rebounds, and steals. The only reason he didn't have the most assists was because he only got 1 assist in game 1, because none of his teammates could make a shot if their life depended on it. Luka had 2.6 steals per game in the Finals. The next closest player on either team was Brown with 1.6. The Mavs had a better def % with Luka on the floor than off the floor and held the number 1 offense in the league to just over 100 points or fewer in every game. So, even though Luka will probably never win DPOY, he is a solid defender that gets lots of steals. Lastly, the "Luka cries and argues with the refs too much" argument. Every single player argues with the refs when they get fouled, but don't get a call, or when they get called for a foul they don't feel they committed. When other players do it, it's"look at the fire [x] has. He is such a competitor." But when Luka does it .... "There goes Luka again." Sorry for rant. Luka is the best offensive player in the league right now. He'll win a championship soon.

      @ryanhuffman7410 I'm flattered that you think I can even get views from certain sports media LOL. And I appreciate your response a lot of these guys call me a Luka hater and don't say much else lol. On a broader note, yall call me a Luka hater off a 10 min video when I have hours of content where I give Luka hella props. During the hate in the Finals I was like damn he's getting hella hate when they wouldn't even be in that situation without him and they clearly ran into a much better more experienced team. And to your point Luka is great, but why does that exclude him from criticism? He has a great handle and creates offense like no other in history but that doesn't mean that he and the team wouldn't benefit from Luka coming off the ball more. And I think to an extent the refs issue has taken a life of its own but the fact that in the playoffs even Luka made an adjustment is a sign that even he realized he was arguing with them too much. And like Harden I don't think he's a bad defender I think it's just a lack of effort. Because someone gets a lot of steals that doesn't mean that they're a great defender for example Allen Iverson.

      @ryanhuffman7410 2 месяца назад

      @@Jayson.Estrera that's a more fair take. I just heard so much unfair criticism of Luka (especially during the playoffs) and it's always the same. The Mavs would have never got anywhere near the Finals without him and the team's def % is better with Luka on the court than off. Kyrie has an other worldy great handle, but the rest of the Mavs' roster can't be trusted to dribble the ball at all (other than Green, Exum, and Hardy). Luka does pass a lot, but he has to either catch Kyrie not doubled, a lob, or someone willing to actually shoot an open 3. Which was a lot easier said than done. I can't count how many times a game Luka would pass the ball, trying to get someone to take a shot and they just passed it right back to him. He tries to get his team involved and get their confidence up so they'll shoot (I loved seeing Lively hit that corner 3 in the Finals. Which was an assist from Luka). He spends almost his entire post game press conferences praising his teammates when the Mavs win and blaming himself when they lose. I do agree about the Harden and Luka take. They both can be good defenders, but both can be lazy on defense at times. Luka does sometimes yell at refs harder than the average player, but there's reason for him to just let refs do whatever they want without it being that Luka argues with them all the time. ESPN and others were blaming the Mavs' losses on Luka arguing with the refs (which is ludicrous) and he had just fouled out of game 3 (the officiating in games 2 and 3 was atrocious). If I made an unfair assumption that you're just another uninformed Luka hater, I apologize. I just don't see any other player in the NBA get as much unfair criticism as Luka. If almost any other player went 34/10/10 with 2 steals and went 4/10 from 3, all the analysts would be praising that player nonstop for days and dubbing them "the next [insert NBA HoFer]", but when Luka does it at almost every game it's just "and Luka was Luka." Luka damn near averaged that with like 70+ games played.

    • @Jayson.Estrera
      @Jayson.Estrera 2 месяца назад

      @ryanhuffman7410 you're good bro no need to apologize I really do appreciate your approach! The refs topic for me is more about him playing the "game within a game." For a player that plays as physical as he does I'm surprised that he doesn't average 10+ free throws every year. I just think of it from this perspective. I know we all hate refs but they're human, now imagine someone is yelling at you constantly knowing damn well they you can't call every foul. I can't blame them if they don't favor that guy. Has it been blown out of proportion at times yes has it been really bad in some moments and some games also yes. Call it unfair but imagine he kissed up to the refs more some people might hate it but if it gets him an additional 4 points and less games in foul trouble I'd take that trade lol. And the love hate relationship with players has always existed. I spoke on my episode earlier today about how much everyone loves Kobe now. But when I was watching the NBA through the 2000s that wasn't the case he was under a microscope as well the joke that Kobe didn't pass wasn't really a joke then. Also part of being great comes with praise and part of it also comes from criticism. I have no doubt that Luka will win a championship in the NBA if not more, and tbh even if he never wins one, at this pace you'd have to call him a top 15-20 player ever easy. But to flirt with the top 10 and top 5 I personally think getting in better shape and learning to play off the ball more can get him there.

Luka averaged 38 points 11 assists and 9 rebounds for the 19 games Kyrie was injured which is absurd. I expect something like 30 and 11.5 from Luka this year. His stats should dip all around if the team just stays healthy and doesn’t have to lean on him so hard. 100+ games missed with injuries to Kyrie, Lively, Exum, Green, and Kleber. As for Klay, I don’t expect that to change his offense too much except maybe pushing his assists up a bit and his scoring down a bit as he may kick out some shots to Klay that he may have forced up with Green or DJJ in the corner. As a Warriors fan I'm happy Klay is in a new situation and hopefully he finally comes to term with his injuries. He's been a completely different player ever since the injuries. If he has been promised a starting role that is going to be a problem because he isn't a starting level player anymore. He can't defend on the perimeter anymore and his team defence has always been bad. You'll find him wandering around aimlessly once he gets beat off the dribble (which is 99% of the time these days). I've no doubt he'll get easier shots with luka than he has with Steph the last few years, but beware he has no legs anymore. If he plays too many minutes or he plays too many games in to short a time then even his wide open shots Klank (hence his new nickname in Dubnation). The one real bright spot the last season was his connection with Trayce in a 2 man game. He still commands a lot of defensive attention so if they can replicate that there should be a lot of wide open roles to the cup for Lively and Gafford.

Chucking shots with no regard at all and then pouting when he misses. The issue is physically he doesn't have much to offer anymore on either end. I'm sure he will get easier shots and if he is willing to just be a spot up shooter that is probably the best way to maximize him. Defensively Lively and Gafford may be able to make up for his shortcomings more than the roster that the dubs have wheeled out the last couple of seasons. Interesting times ahead that's for sure.

Klay will be fine in Dallas. No one said Irving could fit with Luka, that seemed to have worked out ok. Luka adjusted to Irving as he will with Klay. Klay works best without the ball in his hands which fits perfectly into Luka and Irving handling and playing off what the defense tries to do. I actually think both Luka and Irving will greatly benefit from Klay simply because the D can just leave the corners wide open like they did against DJones, PJ, Maxi, THJ and Exum in the playoffs. Imagine Klay just getting 5 wide open looks due to Luka being doubled, then Luka not getting doubled and getting inside the paint? As long as Mavs can stay healthy they'll be in good position.
