COS Chamber Choir - Il Bianco e Dolce Cigno
Used this video when we sang this in college in Poughkeepsie, NY back 13 years ago. Now I'm living out here in Visalia, CA in the same town as COS, very small world! Fabulous job as well!!
Still crazy this has so few views after all these years.. Whoever that Tenor is.. That hits those notes.. My choir buddies and I have listened to this and appreciated that moment of the crescendo for the last decade.
underrated
Where is the College Of the Sequoias?
This great song was for Norway's 3 songerfest in trundheim Norway this was sung by 4 what they call trunder kor, with 200 singer's
Nice work i love it

👍😁 ruclips.net/video/hEWVmBAroUs/видео.html
It sounds a bit like How great is our God.
WHAT A GREAT WINTER PIECE !!!!
The recording does this rendition no justice. Hearing it live was pure bliss to my ears. I still think back on this performance even till this day. Such an outstanding ensemble and director.
I started this in school and I can't wait to finish it it sounds so Good!!!!!!!!!!!
would anyone happen to know who arranged this piece? I couldn't find it anywhere online, and this is by far my favorite arrangement of this song
I've been watching this video a few times every year since I discovered it in '08. I still love it. I have two favorite parts, the 'choreography' and the gentleman at the end. The complete ensemble is wonderful.
Can someone please shoot the guy doing the sleigh bells. Seriously, learn how to stay in tempo and count
I was in attendance at this service. It was amazing
I'LL love you, Dennis...
très joli arrangement.....
Rsa middle is doing this and it sounds better :D
Wonderful! I'd love to hear it with only one voice per part.
love this ! haha !
I'm learning this right now, such an awesome song.
It really wasnt that good. My choir is singing this and we actually know how to use dark vowels and dynamics, both which you didn't have. My choir is in MIDDLE SCHOOL. This wasn't a very good one. The tenors needed to blend more, the sopranos overpowered everyone, there were absolutely no dynamics, the choir went waaaay too fast, their vowels were awful, and the snapping at "you read about Samson" was ridiculous not good. My middle school choir can do way better than your choir
Great version of this beautiful piece. I've done it before with SFGMC and is one of my favorites
jack halloran
I ha e to sing this today wish me luck
And I'm a bass 2 and I can sing lower than the lowest note on this song.
The guys in my choir at school are doing this along with "Viva Tutti" and "Veni, Jesu"
Impressive.
Lol my choir did this at twice the speed. Good times
Me too!
*choir
it sounds so cool my vhoir is learning this for contest (im in 7 grade) it is fun to learn the latin words u sound amazing i hope it sounds good when we finish learning all the words and piches
greatest video of this i have seen!!! it helped me and my group greatly with what we need to work on. We are taking this to contest saturday and since its a group 1 if we get gold we go to state
Well, piccolo at any rate. :)
Thanks for posting this video. That was a glorious arrangement, and will be repeated until the end of time, I'm sure. May God bless you, those singers and others involved.
Can anyone else hear a tenor sticking out with a beautiful voice?
Yes :)
With Snape on flute
I thought that too
Wow to God be the glory!!
I have to preform this song at my school, not the best song ever
This is beautiful! This is the best quality I've heard on RUclips. Seriously. Absolutely brilliant. My choir sang this in high school and I still remember all the lyrics to it :)
one of the finer choirs! is this high school?
I sang this when I was in choir. It was one of my favorite songs. Do you remember who composed this?
we're singing this for choir in the freshman concert... its hard to memorize
terrific o.o
Beautiful! Can I have the SATB music sheet of this song? Thanks.
the choir is a community college choir from visalia California. This was recorded in southern california at a festival, cant remember the name of the event or church however. Thanks for the compliment! i loved performing with this group!
I like this arrangment, and the sign language is really good too. :)
I spy Jacob!!!! The tallest one there... hahahaha. He is the most amazing bass.
my name is sequoia...awkss O.o
This was the best song my chorus class has ever done. I still come back to it <3
