Picked up a TFT speedo from a 2015 500 with 21k miles on it at a wrecking yard. Swapped it out with the analog speedo. Used multiscan to program the correct mileage and settings.

4th Grade Mission Project, Roosevelt Elementry School. Filmed on Ipad Mini. Edited on iMovie11. Dialog audio had to be re-recorded at home since it was noisy at the mission. We synced it as best as possible. Music from Minecraft.

Any luck getting the boost gauge to work?
Yes. Found that only Abarth clusters send the signal for the boost gauge. If you are 2014 or less it meet be a 2015 Abarth cluster. That was the only year of Blue & Me compatibility. I tried a 2017 and you cannot set date and time as those models had the bigger Uconnect Stereo which menu functions where in the stereo not the cluster like Blue & Me units.

If the menu doesn’t allow time and date it’s because that cluster needs a unconnect stereo to set that info. Basically any cluster 2016 am later will need a unconnected system
@@nenes78 zo if you have one before 2016 it will be fine?
@@devoneijkelenkamp5732 2016 and later had the time and date settings via the stereo from what I’ve read. So yes the 2015 is pretty much the only one you can use to keep that functionality

Hello This tft produced in what year? How did you customize the display of ambient temperature, hours, and bluetooth?
Not sure when the display was produced. The vehicle it was removed from was a 2015 MY 500 Sport. The hours are and date are set in the menu of the display. The temp and Bluetooth are there automatically since the car already had that equipment. The old orange display also had the temp and Bluetooth as well.
@@nenes78 thank Today I put the tft, but in the settings there is no choice of setting the date, language, bluetooth
If your car has Bluetooth, my Abarth is 2013 with Blue and Me, you need to use the steering wheel controls for setup.
Hello. Why doesn`t the Gas % indicator on the right side move?
Julio Cesar Monteiro , the sensors for the gas percentage are not in the 2013 only 2015+
Trying to get the parts for this together. The only one I can get right now is from an automatic sport. Do you happen to know if the transmission type matters? I don't want it to display Auto gear but I do want the shift light on the tft to show up to help my kid learn to drive stick.
Paycheck Suicide - The transmission type does not matter. I pulled mine from the wrecking yard l, it was a 2015 Sport with Auto Transmission. You use the HEX editor in MES to tell it what type of 500. Good luck.
I just swapped mine in my fiat 500 sport and did the proxi scan. But, it changed it to a horrible interface. Do you you know how to change the TFT face?

did you replace the old normal speedo cluster for this digital one? was it dificult?
Julio Cesar Monteiro , yes I removed the old analog cluster and replaced it with this. Removal and install is easy. Just remove the steering column plastic and the gauge cluster cover. Then remove the 4 bolts holding the speedo. Then I used Multi Ecu Scan to program the milage and proxi align to the car.
nenes78 thanks mate. How do I get the MES to get everything in place? Is it easy to download and install on any PC? Where did you buy the cluster? Thanks in advance.
Julio Cesar Monteiro, MES is from www.multiecuscan.net, download is free but I did purchase the license for one year. I purchased my cable set from eBay. The cluster I picked up from a junkyard, the donor car was a 2015 500 sport, price there was $30 usd, eBay they go for $150 usd.
Dude would you mind helping me find one of these instrument clusters? I searched all over eBay and couldn't find it.

@kyle2892 - Thanks. He is shy. It was him that wanted a Tron costume, but I refused to pay $50 for a black pajama with stripes on it. In total it was about $55 in materials including the Motocross jacket. He just wore it to a halloween function. Everyone loved it and his friends were asking where he bought it, and with a smile responded "My dad made it".
