Thanks for sharing. Simpe process. I will try it to replace my broken 9 iron shaft. I noticed that the grip logo got moved to 180 deg. Typically, it is on the top. Looks like we need to align and push it instead of rotating.

Some food for thought, but you've scratched the f@#$ out of the counter, put some towels down...

Golf epoxy has a lower glass transition temperature that makes the head easier to separate from the shaft using heat. A high temperature epoxy makes it harder to remove the head. Graphite shafts can be easily damaged.

What a difference this made. My grips were quite old. 20 yrs??? Very slick and crispy. This revived them and they feel great. Thanks for posting.

Do you put a protective coat on it? I polished my Scottie pro platinum a few times and it keeps having rust set in on it and I gotta re-polish it….so wondering if you put a clear coat or something on it to keep the finish? If so…what do You put on it to help?
