@@dreamyguitarist3819 however I can tell you how I did it. 1st thing is I widen the nut slots a little bit so strings would not bind. I file it with a sandpaper. I don't have a nut file so I did it with that. 2nd I lubed all contact point of the strings which is the nut slots and the saddles. It's all up to you which lube you wanna use. All I use is pencils graphite with a little bit of 3 in 1 lube oil. 3rd when I'm wrapping my strings on the pegs I only do 2 or 3 winds and using the locking wind method. You can search this up on youtube. And the 4th one is the most difficult one that I did since I don't have any experience with wood works. I sanded or in other words widen the wood on the backplate where the trem block is located. Because it always gets in the way when you wanna dip the trem or pull it up. I used wood file with this one and a hand drill equiped with a sanding drum because I don't have a wood router and can't afford one. 5th I checked if the 2 post of the trem is wobbling. If that happens put a plummers tape on both screw post so it will be real steady. 6th is floating the setup and keep on tuning it until it stays in tune really well. Don't forget to stretch each strings. And there you have it. I hope this helps you well on attempting to float you own Jackson. Cheers🙌🏻

@@papamalaz2551 2 springs only and it's a vegatrems springs. It comes with diff spring tennsion when you bought one.

​@@adryn.pereyra21 I understand dude, but, I think this wanna be helpful to help people wanna install a locking nut on the nut of the guitar. I have a Jackson guitar too, recently I bought a locking nut, is in coming. It is not very common to see a locking nut on a guitar that does not have a Floyd Rose type bridge and only has the factory floating bridge. What you did, apart from being surprising, is quite interesting.

Ah ginawa ko sya floating setup medyo nakaangat yung bridge. tas kung marunong ka na mag setup ng floyd same principle balance of strings and springs tension. then para di mawala sa pagkaka tono pag ginagamit mo ang trem need mo ipa setup, file ng nut slots para mas maluwag hindi mag stuck yung strings sa nut slots and lube sa mga string contacts. hope that helps

Ensancho y lubrico las ranuras de las tuercas y lubrico la parte de las cuerdas que hace contacto con la superficie de las silletas. Y también uso el método de bloqueo para envolver las cuerdas solo con 2 o 3 vueltas y solo uso 2 resortes en la parte posterior.
