nah aimin at the sun at thiis point lol
Nice
Thanks!
Which factory load does your HMR like best?
Loving this. I also have a Bergara in 300PRC; HMR, that I’m going to try and touch a mile with this year. Nice shooting
King of the 2 mile.... have a friend that shoots that regularly... its pretty amazing when you're that far...
I personally do not understand that. It's not about shooting, it's about winning the lottery and investing $$ to equipment. What you need is just a 0.3MOA rifle, right caliber with good ballistic. If you make a group 0,4'' on 100y and then hit a target on 2 miles, it's about defining distance with a laser meter atmosphere parameters with meteo station. Then calculate how many clicks you need.....and some luck for "compensate wind instability.") So it’s about wind reading and your budget, but not shooting.)))
@ yeah I used to think that. I talked to the guys that shoot in those competitions and realized that there is so much more to it than that. Most excellent shooters could get one of their custom weapons and not shoot worth crap at those distances. Why, because of the laws of ballistics and thermal and wind and signs that they learn to read that most people have no clue. Even the movement of the earth in the time from point a to point b…. Many of those groups keep minute detailed data very meticulously and supply it to the military and it’s factored into their sniper training. So it’s way more than a good gun… it’s way more science at those distances. Unless your okay with 2-3 out of ten being in the vacinitt of the target. Kind of reminds me of taking to a motorcycle racer that exceeded 150 mph regularly.in the racing. He commented that the rules change at those excessive speeds.
2,500 with a .223, that's nuts!
Nice thats awesome you have a spot to do that. Farthest spot i have is 2450. I built a 300 RUM throated out for the 245’s 3170fps. I was to attempt 2 miles
That is nice setup
@ i need to stretch it out to 2 miles. Its funny because inside 1000 yards it just doesn’t seem fair lol
AWESOME. Are you dialing onto the target with the turrets and holding a consisitent point of aim? Are you actively changing the wind hold each shot? I didn't call #4, was it a hit?
I didn’t see #4 as well. Wasn’t hit. I was dialing for the elevetion , but was dialing and holding for the windage. And yes, all the time
so wait, was that a hit?
No, no hit
Wow
That time of flight is pretty short for a mile. Did you properly sync your clips?
Yes
Depending on MV 2.5 to 3 seconds Did you have your video speed set on 2x ? . LoL 😂
Freaking awesome dude !!! Yeah, whacha chunking ?
Details ?

Thank you
awesome
Thank you

7 seconds from shot to impact. Did you have to take wind into account with the brop?
Yes, sure

@@andreytodorov843 that’s a really interesting riser. I’ve never seen one that can do 200moa before. Does it make the height of bore of the scope uncomfortable or the cheek riser really high ?
Heavy Duty bipod what kind is it? Great shooting and great range. What state is this?
Thanks. Accu-Tac FC-4 G2 F-Class Bipod. Kansas
@@andreytodorov843 Nice , thanks!
That is a really hard shot in the wind, I do it with 77 Sierras and H335/IMR 4895. Up here in the mountains the wind is unpredictable. Good job doing it in 20
Thank you
Nice shooting!! I recognized the prone pad and target paint scheme immediately, been there done that in that wind.
Where are you shooting
I’m not a fan of the 6.5 Creedmoor but I gotta admit, if the wind was as the sound indicated, this is an impressive shot.
What scope are you using?
Valdada Recon G2 4.8-30×56
Im here to tell you with that wind he aint shooting 2000 yards and hitting a target
Sorry buddy but they do. It blows like that relentlessly. I have got hits with my 6.5 prc to 1000 & 1500 yrds in identical wind but couldnt get the mile. I dont know the shooter from adam but I have shoot there and thats the 2000 yd target. The targets are pretty generous at 24''x24'' out to mile and 2000-2600 yard trgts are 36''x 36'' but the wind is brutal some days.
What stock?
Just got my 3rd Tikka T3x stainless 6.5CM today. I'm a fan of the cartridge.
Pretty magnificent. What scope are you using and are you using a 20moa Picatinny rail?
Primary Arms PLx 6-30x56 FFP Rifle Scope - Illuminated ACSS Athena BPR MIL Reticle + the 20 MOA
look up the velocity charts for any 22LR rounds and see how soon the transition from supersonic to subsonic is. the round is so light and the transition is so violent that you'll have a better time with a heavier subsonic round.
What scope are you using
I want to find out too ty

Thanks. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too.
What scope and reticle is that?

False advertising definitely not a B-14 wilderness
It could just be in a chasis
Yes it is. In an MDT chassis

The Ruger Manual warns against using "Stingers."
It does. I haven’t seen any explode yet online but I really want to use them in mine without fn up the internals.
