Life lesson: Anything worth saving or protecting requires redundancy of the method used to protect. Example: In this situation & second bilge pump with auto float switch connected to a separate battery, could have saved the boat. To protect my family & my home, I have guns (plural) as in more than 1, strategically placed for defense.
