You can see its amateur hour. One of the great guitarists and music innovators of our time and 1 microphone!!!??!! i can't even hear Robin.....this is very dissappoining.

God, I feel embarrassed for the interviewer and feel awful for Robin. I don't think the interviewer is even paying attention to what Robin is answering to his questions because he looks absolutely lost after Robin finishes his responses. And it should be about Robin's solo work and it's always about the Cocteau Twins, granted I am a die hard fan...but this is another era and it's respectful to Robin to acknowledge it instead of resorting to things we heard before in past Cocteau interviews.

Don't like how Guthrie invisions his own talents. Quite critical of himself. He's wonderful solo, and I'm only just now discovering more of his solo work. Cocteau Twins as a whole was remarkable, they all complimented each other musically, and they wouldn't ever sound the same if you took away one of the three from eachother. But he shouldn't underestimate himself, just because his solo work hasn't gained the status cocteau twins did. His contributions to that group were enormous

Yes, Robin playing your CT's music may not be relevant to you right now in your creative endeavors; yet I think you need to give credit where credit is due. Nobody makes music like you. You have inspired countless 100's of other musicians. I think you are a musical genius. I think you have made some of the most beautiful music ever; equivilant to any classical composer (Beethoven, etc.) or new age/Yoga musician. Very beautiful, psychedelic, soothing, healing, ecstatic & inspirational!

i love it.....interviewer "it would be like Las Vegas for some people".....Robin "or like Heaven for others....." great wit and a timeless record.....Robin is my all time favorite and so patient in the face of this horrible interviwer

Knowing you will be filming would it not have made sense to be somewhat prepared? I can't make out a damn word Robin says and I can care less what the interviewer is saying...

Shame they couldn't splash out on two mikes. I want. to hear both sides of the conversation. Sometimes you hear the question then you have to hope your lip reading skills are up to scratch to guess what Robin says.
