Poor Situation Awareness: How To Cope With It?
As a VIP flight attendant, situational awareness is one of the key skills to cultivate, nurture, and apply daily.
In essence, it involves the ability to observe a situation, comprehend it, and adjust your communication, behavior, and presence accordingly.
Unfortunately, this was not the case during one of my flights!
During a corporate management flight, we struggled to understand what was the cabin mood, attempting to gauge the cabin atmosphere while employing various strategies to restore a positive environment, but to no avail. It was only shortly before landing that we discovered a significant event had occurred, requiring the attention of all the customers on board the private jet.

What does the setup involve? It includes everything from the ground up. You’ll need p...

Catering for Crew Meals on a Private Jet
❤❤❤❤❤❤
İm really a huge fan of your videos its the most helpful free resource existent on internet for corporate FA, and I feel really greatful that you share your knowledge in such a generous way! Thank you! I m beginner corporate flight attendant and I have few questions that till now I didn’t find answers, one of them is what should I do after the meal service is over? Like If the food is already eaten and I collected the tables , after that should I go and stay in galley or do I need to monitor cabin once in a while? Also do I need to put some music and how I can do it? Also I don’t really understand where I need to staw catering meals and dirty plates as well? And also I m not quiet sure about securing cabin, how do I make sure everything is secured because on big aircraft’s there are latches that we need to close but in private jets is there latches or how I can make sure nothing will fall down ? Thank you in advance ❤

Thank you so much!
What an interesting person is Chiara and loved to hear her extensive experience in the field!
Hi! May I ask what kind of cleaner you use? Is this already on the jet or you have to bring it?
Thank you for this information! It helped with a story I'm writing.
Excellent channel for honest information.
Love, passion and dedication…how important is why you choose private aviation. Very interesting!
I like people that are genuine but at the same time they bring up their professionalism and experience.
Thank you Sofia! It wasn't planned, I have to admit I had a lot of good luck with it : )
Thank you Vanessa for sharing your experience! The skills that you shared are very important to succeed in the corporate aviation!
Indeed Vanessa shared an interesting point of view..... food for thoughts!
So, private jets don’t have options to choose from? Basically, either you or the passengers can just choose whatever they like? And how far in advance do they usually have to choose by? Thank you!
In the person to person interview process, when do you think it is appropriate to ask what the starting pay or what is the salary when it has not been posted? This is difficult to research in the private aviation especially in part 91 to get an idea of what the range maybe, especially in different regions when your ask to travel in all regions and parts of the world.
Hello Tammy! Your question is very interesting and, indeed, this is a tricky situation! Assuming the recruitment process is divided into steps, and assuming there are at least three of them, I'd expect them to speak about money, salary and compensation system on the first step. If they don't, I'd take the initiative and ask at the end of the second meeting (or second step), when is the time for them to answer your questions. The fact that the salary is kept secretive is also a sign of a non professional recruitment strategy, and, in my direct experience, leads towards an economical offer that is not worth to accept. I think I'd like to know if I am wasting my time sooner, rather than later. Obviously, if the recruitment process is shorter than three steps, also my question about the salary will be anticipated! It is totally right to push them and share the economical agreement they have to offer. To be completely honest, you shouldn't even have to ask. Keep in mind that every recruitment process is a two-ways test. They are deciding if you are a good candidate and, at the same time, you are evaluating them if they are a good company. I hope this helps!
Thank you for this information, i was having a bad day and losing hope but i found your video and somehow it gave me a small ray of light that my time will come and i will enter bussines aviation one day. All the best🙌🏼!
Dear Loredana, keep on trying and never lose faith! The right opportunity will come, you just have to make sure you know where to look for it. If I can be of any help for any information, motivation booster, if you need an objective review on something, I am happy to help!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was freelancing on a Jet that had dirty dishes in the sink, busted butters inside the ice drawers, spoiled milk leaking in one of the drawers, every single compartment I opened had dirty dishes, cutlery, napkins… “jumping” out of it (had to open everything with extreme caution). Nuts and crackers were stale because they were left open… Bed was left undone, soap leaking in the toilet (must have fallen during takeoff or landing), not vacuumed and with the garbage from last flight Disaster!!! What I found out later was that they had a comercial flight attendant from a low cost airline freelancing on the previous flight. 🤦🏽♀️
Good information. I like the way the captain put the other pilot in charge for the service. It’s always enlightening to walk in a flight attendants shoes. Some crew think the position is so easy, because we make it look that way.
What you say is very true, dear Tammy! We make it look like it's easy.
Private Jet Coach, You deserve more subscribers, wanna collab and grow together?
Thank you for sharing this information with everyone!
My pleasure, dear Sofia! I try to share as much knowledge as possible, in order to make this industry look less "mysterious".
Thank you for your clarification and insight! May i request a video of a hair tutorial for VIP flight attendants?

Hi ! As an entry level freelance vip flight attendant with an extended experience in hospitality and catering, how much should i charge per day in your opinion ? Also where can I look for freelance vip flight attendant jobs ? Thank you for you videos!
is a test flight paid for as a normal flight? just curious
Hi Martina, I love your channel, happy to have stumbled upon it. Did you come from a commercial aviation background?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Is so inspiring to listen to all these amazing crew and their special talents!
WHAT A GREAT HONOUR MY GOD 🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
The bare minimum !
@@privatejetcoach1205 😭😭🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for your inspiration!
Thank you very much for your very interesting videos. I was wondering one thing: when the customer books through a broker and requests food and alcoholic drinks on board, who does the customer pay this to? The client pays the broker or the FBO? And the broker transmits the order to the FBO and you take care of organizing everything on the plane? Is this the correct transmission chain or am I wrong?
Dear Johanna, thank you for your inquiry! When a customer requests a quote for a private jet flight from a broker, the broker then contacts the company, who is responsible for setting the price, which includes catering. If the customer books through the broker, a good broker will ask for their catering preferences and pass this information to the company. The customer pays the full price to the broker, who then pays the operating company, after deducting their fee (often around 10% of the flight cost). The price typically includes a standard amount of food and alcohol for a total of (roughly) 100€ to 150€ per person, per flight hour. Usually, the FBO is not involved in this process. To make things clearer: the passenger on board the jet is the client of the Private Jet Operator, who is the client of the FBO. The broker stays in between the passenger and the Private Jet Operator and mediates the deal between them. You are the final ring of the chain, responsible of organising everything they want on board. I hope this helps!
@@privatejetcoach1205 I understand better, it's very clear. Thank you so much ! Does it work the same way with empty legs and shared flights?
Dear Johanna, yes, it works the same for empty legs and shared flights! Maybe, in this last scenario, it's more probable that the full set of information is not shared properly, because of the number of people and figures involved.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great video as always and like the idea for the seat orientation especially with a sectioned aircraft. So later they will see they can converse with other guests in mid cabin. Thanks again for all your sage advice.
My pleasure dear Tammy! Sake skies to you and happy landings!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you ❤
I guess that we can't please everyone. That customer should have given you the exact menu that would appeal him!
Awwwww amore mio, i remember you were telling me that story
Oh yes, that was quite a thing!
I love your videos. Very informative. I am ex EK cabin crew…
@privatejetcoach ❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Martina! Thank you for these very usefull information. Regarding the basic salary, are we talking about around 1.000/1.500euro, or it's more around 3.000? Thank you ❤
Hello Paulina! Well, it really depends from the country that issues the contract. For example, Italy is not a well paid country, and the basic salary is normally around 1.800€. Means that if you do not fly at all for an entire month, this is the compensation you will receive. On the contrary, the basic salary in Switzerland is generally 5000 CHF. UK is generally 4000 GBP, Austria is around 2.000 EUR. As you can see, it can vary a lot and all depends on how do they calculate the per diems. I am talking just about basic salary only
Hello Martina thank you for your shining personality ! As a butler willing to transition to the private aviation worId, I find your videos very informative and I watch every one them as soon as it appears online 😂 Keep up the great work ! 🌸 Melissa
Thank you dear Melissa! I appreciate your genuine support! Let me know if you wish me to cover a specific topic that is unclear to you, I'll be happy to do so! Martina
I used to be cabin crew with Lufthansa and only now I realize fully how in many ways private jet flight attending is vastly different (from public aviation). So interesting! What remains similar is of course dedication to passengers and service. I'm impressed by the skills you need and performing in great style! Thank you for sharing your insights❤

Grazie amore mio🙏🙏 You so much honour me❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Martina, I was wondering which video is it that you have that speaks about boarding passengers and having them boarding the flight. You mentioned about the pilots greeting passengers and the cabin being setup for their entry and inspection. I was trying to find that particular video to share with my front end collogues. I think your videos are great and also gives other CA more insight to the european or international of other cultures. Thanks again for all that you do. Ciao Bella!
Ciao Bella!!! Thank you for your nice message : ) I think I now which video you mean, let me find it out for you. Baci baci!
Dear Tammy! I think I have found it: check this out, is this the video you meant? ruclips.net/video/M4qDhIl_0q0/видео.html
Yes, this is the video I was looking for. I am going to share this with the cockpit crew. This will help in the CRM when they bring them from the FBO to the aircraft in being sure we are all ready. Grazie Mille!@@privatejetcoach1205
