Hey mate - I really appreciate that :) The beaches we went to on Lombok were super beautiful! Only thing we missed out on was checking out the waterfalls so maybe have a look into that. Mandalika Beach Club is class if you want a super chilled day out. Its deffo not a Finns/ party type vibe... or it wasn't when we were there

Oh wow - thats so interesting and I didn't know that. We loved Chile and might go to the southern part on the back end of our trip in Feb to do some hiking :) Are you from Santiago or Valparaiso?

I don't know to much about their Uni's but I wouldn't say so. I think I would rather study in Sydney or Brisbane if it were me :) What are you studying?

@@gazwrighttravel I have applied at Charles Darwin uni in bachelor of accounting in Darwin city. I'm thinking to change my campus either in Sydney or Melbourne.

@@ShubhdeepKaur-e4o I personally enjoyed Sydney more and think it would be better to study here, but it depends what you like. Darwin is more in the middle of nowhere and chilled, Sydney is more buzzing and going on :)

@@castorchua Agra as a city just wasn’t for us, but the Taj is magical and our home stay was amazing. In retrospect I should have just spoken about Agra rather than India as a whole. But we live and learn 😃

@@gazwrighttravel It IS a big country. I had a motorcycle and much more time so I got to see more than most. Also, some time has past so I'm probably less PC diplomatic and a bit more objective and frank. India is a relatively safe place that anyone from a developed country should visit so they can learn that the human experience for the majority of humanity is pretty unpleasant. We have a long way to go.

@@gazwrighttravel McLeod ganj and Manali are nicer spots I remember. I wanted to get to Leh but didn't make it. Gets cooler and cleaner the higher you go. You can rent one if you just need to get around a few areas of interest but if you want to wander, go to a guesthouse with lots of dreadlocked Israeli dudes and buy a bike from one them heading home. Enfields might make for nice social media photos but are heavy for can be tricky for unexperienced riders (like I was). Get a Bajaj Pulsar or a Yamaha if you actually want to get anywhere. Yamahas are better bikes but they have parts for Pulsars everywhere.

Edit - my trip was some years ago. Those Israeli dudes might not be so easy to find right this minute.

Do you have any advice about the best way to pay for things in Vietnam? Card? Debit/credit/ Wise money card? Or better to go with cash?

@@sonyaquintal4923 we paid with card in lots of places. We use Monzo but have Revolut as a backup (haven't had to use this yet) and then have some cash. If you are going to eat at street vendors then have some cash, but all the main cities and places took card :) Hoi An was our favourite city by a long way as well, so make sure you go there

@@gazwrighttravel you definitely should try completos and ass!! 😂 as a Chilean my classic completo spot is Dominó but there’s lots around the city :) my bf is from England as well and he loved the Gringo, Italian and Chararero completo. Piso Uno and Japón for best sushi! For activities I’d recommend Museo de la Memoria, Las Tarrias neighbourhood, Parque Araucano, I’ve got too many 😂

Yeah I was surprised by that when we landed. The country is so long and this is 1 hour the sea in Vina Del Mar and 1.5 hours to the border with Argentina and the mountains. Super cool place :)

@@BB-yi6qn on this trip year. We did 6 months in Asia, 1 month in Australia/ Fiji/ New Zealand and now 5 months in South America. I’m not sure what the plan is after, but will need a job somewhere 😂 No North America or Africa on this trip. I’ve don’t a few African counties before and we’re trying to go to completely new counties (we’ve already done the US). We might do some Central American countries, but need to decide which ones 🤝
