From The Black Opry Revue performance at The Sh*tty Barn in Spring Green, WI. May 10, 2023. This is what I'd call a good, old-fashioned protest song. (Sorry I didn't catch the first verse.) #crysmatthews #theblackopry #blackopryrevue #barnsessions #shittybarnsessions #shittybarn #springgreenwi

Don Helix and The Champagne - Goo Goo Muck
find someone who looks at you the way jimmy chamberlin does after a solo
Big Momma's got a front row seat!
They ought to knock out some 'Morphine' tunes!
2 words Jesus Fuck
Awesome set!
Jimmy got me with his ability and now I love him bc of his soul
Jimmy is my favorite drummer. He should get more recognition. In my opinion, he is the same as neil peart in terms of musicality. True underrated genious.
That's a great-sounding bass drum.
Funny that probably 70% of the people there had no idea the drummer is one of the greatest drummers of all time who is also in one of the biggest rock bands of all time
Bitches brew
Yes!
Clod style,, I have zero respect for Chamberlin. 0.
The guy’s a Beast… I have heard of him but forgot about him… I’m back for sure!!
The consistency of Jimmy's rimshots is hypnotizing.
Almost as good as John Densmore.
Jimmy🔥🔥🔥
My kid been on a SP kick so getting to revist JC snare work has been a blissful walk down memory avenue especially on GISH just a bunch of killer songs too. Love this dude
Gish is their best album in my opinion by far. When it came out in 1990 I played that tape cassette until I had to tape it together a couple times
@@BobbyJetty1502 oh yea! i remember getting Ritual de la habitual in the summer of '90 & Gish a few months later & i probably didnt listen to anything else until The Melvins Houdini came out. So psyched my kids loves the Pumpkins
Fantastic. Good memories!!!!!
Those two at the left at the front you can tell are Pumpkins ringins.
Jimmy !
I love Cokey McBasschops
I've always loved his playing.
Such a beautiful song unrecognized
Easily my favourite drummer ever and ALWAYS criminally underrated and overlooked in best drummer lists. Lucky enough to see Pumpkins live once and he was amazing...Through the eyes of Ruby took the roof off the place.
Can't stop this video
It’s always nice to hear Jimmy Chamberlin playing jazz! It really makes him standout when it comes to drummers from the same era. Danny Carey’s also a favorite of mine. There is 1 young drummer, Greyson Nekrutman, that’s also very jazz influenced. The kid has a lot of potential.
All the best rock drummers to my mind come from a jazz background.
@steventomas231 i agree
Incredible ✌️
Play “Rat in the Cage” !!!!
Soooooooo fucking great!....Thhese guys transform you live!
You know Jimmy is just waiting to break out into a killer solo! He's seems like one of most humble drummers alive and man he's awesome! Jimmy The Great!
i would be that dude groovin hard on the couch too lol . i cant believe no one else is rockin out haha
i want to do some fatty coke rails with that bass player
its still better than my basement.
Nothing remotely sh*tty about that mate!
Heavy
That solo - so rhythmic and how Jimmy coolly nodded the bassist back in. Smoooootttthhhhhh
What kind of snare head is that?
Magical.
Yep- I agree; the love of the music..... I'll play for free
I've seen Jimmy play with Zwan and the Pumpkins on relatively grand stages in Toronto, but this video of Jimmy playing on a stripped-down kit in a small venue is perhaps the most inspiring thing I've seen him do, possibly because I can see myself doing something remotely like this at some point in the future and with a lot more practice. Great tune, too.
Is he rushing or dragging ???
ha!!
That hi hat stand was dancing
The world is a vampire.
Infinite chops..
Sound like drums in a natural environment
4:48 is that his spare bass drum at the front
0:10 - Three nice, bouncy beats with one stroke with the left hand. Clean as a whistle. One of the things that separates great players from everyone else.
Burning
Jimmy Chamberlain... Keeping time with his left foot for the world since 1988
a lot of Michael Shreive influence
my god this was just a pleasure to watch. Jimmy is criminally too good of a drummer. definitely one of my favorites of all time,....of one of my favorite bands of all time. I really love his Jazz and solo stuff too. What i would give to have been here.
