"Spadina Bus" yow! This was from a fabulous time and Canada still had a number of killer bands and vibrant music scene world class! I couldn't get over those 'bendy busses' I saw' as I came from Liverpool to Toronto then someone said they're extended trams, know I know LOL!

Just heard this on this radio Dec 15, 2022. What a great track.

I remember one of your shows in Québec City, bar Le d’Auteuil, probably 1992… and probably that song! The three sax went down the stage in a row, audience followed, we made the tour inside and you kept playing and walked outside the bar. 20-30 persons followed and crossed the street. Some persons from the terrasse of the bar neighbor (la Fourmis Atomique) joined. The convoy walked to the famous fortifications just the other side the street and climbed the stairs. On the top, we ended on the Kent Door, one of the four doors of the fortifications. All this might have last 10 minutes and you made a great final. After we got back in the D’Auteuil to continue the concert… with some client of La Foumis Atomique entering the concert! Can’t forget that evening, thanks again!

A Toronto Classic.... Memories of Grade 9 I remember both singing and clowning on this song in school with my friends.

I lived near Bloor/Spadina for my U of T years -- this is such a classic! Also, kudos to the GM "silversides," a staple of so many major North American bus fleets.

Growing up in the Vancouver area, I heard this song in the early 80s and thought it was cool. I moved to Toronto when I was 20 and was so happy to find that there actually was a Spadina bus, and it was crazy too. A few years later and it would be replaced by streetcars, but I was blessed to actually be in Toronto when I could take the Spadina bus. Spadina had a lot of potholes and messy traffic. These buses would constantly come down the street. You never had to wait long. It was great. Toronto used to shut down on Sundays, but Chinatown was open and so was an antique market at the foot of Spadina, so I'd often go into town, and check out both those places on a Sunday, via the Spadina bus.

I loved this song/video when it was new and all these years later seeing it again (as no surprise to me) I still love it. Clever and fun, and smile inducing in 2021.
