Why does all my inspiration seeking attempts go in vain?? Why does I end up getting even more depressed after trying to watch something positive or seeking positivity??? This video was going great but crashed and cracked me in the end ..it instilled positivity all through the video but in the end it ended in extreme negativity

I found you through your dialysis log video. Just wanted to send some words of encouragement. I am 34 and on hemodialysis. I started on pd about 4 years ago. I lost my catheter and tissue use DTV severe staph infection. I was in the hospital for about 2 weeks and almost wound up in ICU because I went septic. I can completely relate to most of what you have said. Just wanted to say hang in there!

Annalee, I just stumbled upon your videos. I wanted to check in with you to see how you are doing and to see if you've gotten a transplant yet. I too am on dialysis and waiting for a transplant. I was diagnosed with Renal Disease in 2013 after a biopsy confirmed that I had an autoimmune disease of the kidneys called Focal Segmented Glomular Sclerosis (FSGS). It is the gradual scarring of the filters inside the kidneys. It is progressive and there is no cure. Transplant is the only option. So in 2014 I fell deathly ill while traveling abroad in Europe. I almost died there but made it back to the States and was immediately admitted to the hospital and started on emergency dialysis. I've been on dialysis for over 3 & 1/2 years now and still waiting for a transplant. I love that you are keeping such a positive attitude but I can see the pain behind those beautiful eyes. I know the struggle is REAL! You don't always have to be strong. I know I'm not, no matter how hard I try. I always try to appear happy but there are days that I just don't have it in me. I have to do my hemodialysis at a clinic 3 days a week for 3 & 1/2 hours a day. It really wears me down. I can't do in home peritoneal dialysis because of other health issues. Anyways, just wanted to say you are not alone! Please give us an update and let us know how you are doing. God bless and I will be praying for you!

You're so sweet. I'm sorry you're going through this. I've been on Hemo for almost ten years now and its getting harder to tolerate. I might be getting a transplant but I have other issues..Good luck to you :)

My fiancé just got diagnosed with fsgs , it may not be exactly what u have but thx for sharing your story! Wish u the best.

am on dialysis since 2007 so its too long plus I can't make transplant kidney bcoz I have FSGS ... so the more important is not give up ... keep going ahead
