Any problem with the strap and strap button position when you’re standing?
I want one so bad!! So happy ibanez is going headless FF!
I can't install Orilriver on mac. I copied the orilriver.vst3 folder but logic doesn't display it. Do I have to do any more operations? Thanks
So mix-if and mo-if are the same?
Does it have a amp ?
A lot of this mic are defective. A bunch of them die after some time and a lot others (via USB) keep disconnecting. Have you ever had this problem? This mic is really good, but it has become a nightmare for a lot of people. Really sad!
Pronounced the duck-ass??
Great video. I’ve just bought it but it doesn’t work: Amplitude 5 on PC/iPad/iPhone just doesn’t connect to it, no matter what… I only had the clean guitar sound from the headphone jack and no sound processing is applied at all!!!! I’ve opened a ticket to IK Muktimedia but had no response in 3 days 😢 … any hints how to make it work??? Unplugged and re-plugged many times without success…. I’m considering returning the item to Amazon…. Thanks for any help
Are you sure you are checked the in/out on amplitube correctly? Checked also to listen the processed sound from headphones and not the DI only moving the main knob to the correct position? Fabio
@@higherhz I did many tests, without success. But the funny thing is that, after doing firmware update, I repeated all the tests yesterday and then the system started to work. To be honest, I have the feeling that the device is not fully reliable, because when I change settings and go back to using, for example the ASIO drivers after testing Windows Direct, many times the system is not working anymore, or even after changing gear, e.g., different amp model than default Brit8000. With Windows Direct connection I had the processed sound playing from the speakers connected to the normal PC audio card, which is one of the main reasons why I purchased this iRig HD X model as an improvement to the Stealth Plug cable. However, I can hear quite some latency that is not making me happy at all 🫤🫤🙄🙄 Anyway, I guess the firmware update helped make it work, but I see that it easily fails to work so that I have to unplug/replug it to the PC (or even to the iPhone) to have it working again 😱🙄 sounds pretty weird, doesn’t it?…. I will do some further tests and let you know, thanks for your help 👍👍
Any updates? The same thing is happening to me
Can somebody explain about function dry/wet? For vocal, podcast, voiceover, should I set dry/wet too 100% or 50%/0%? What should be better?
Autotune might be of help here...
At 51:13 you mention that this software is not the way to start on the right side of "the divide". Do you have any introductory video where you go through the different procedures you would need to learn, the different programs that would be able to support that learning and what you would need to focus on for each program to start out? The reason I would like an all-in-one is not for ease of use, but ease of learning. It is really difficult to get any overview or an point of beginning. It feels like I need a thousand programs and hardware pieces without knowing why or how to use them. Sample Tank 4 max v2 is currently in a bundle on humble bundle for 28€, but if it places me on the wrong side of "the divide", I would love to know how to get to the right side.
This is the most informed and insightful review of Sample Tank 4 that I've found on RUclips. I can take all of your observations and perceptions that get to the key pros and cons and apply them myself and compare with some other things that I've heard and judge for myself. I have Sample Tank 4 MAX v2, and purchased it as an upgrade from CS, and got a pretty good deal on it, so for me, dollar per dollar, its worth it, and I'm not doing professional work, so it provides me with a wide range of instruments and sounds that are good enough, and will keep me busy for a long time. When I reach the point when my skill level and needs demand instruments that are superior, or when I find that I'm hitting a ceiling, then I'll start looking at Kontakt and that level. I have found that it's easy to convince yourself you've created something interesting when amazing sounds themselves take center stage. A beautiful soundscape and sound painting without skill and purpose behind it will eventually fall flat and join the ever increasing mountain of forgettable music.
Ca 35 seconds in the manual would have cleared up the 8-voice auditioning/editing confusion 😉
At 10:29, I began to hear the intro to “Janie’s Got a Gun”!!! 😁😁😁
Up until recently...before the digital age...every studio usually had one set of drums setup ready for recording. Or the drummer of the band would bring in their drum set for recording. Just one set of drums. Why on earth...do people nowadays think they need 15 different sets of drums? People are so spoiled nowadays. I've been using the same Abbey Road studio drummer for over 10 years for all my recordings.
If a beginner buys a cheap instrument, any instrument, they are more likely to give up. Buy the best you can afford. It's easier to play, sounds good and will be a joy to own.

You should EQ your video's speech sound better. Really jarrring mids.
Love your cello videos. It looks like your cello only has 3 tuning pegs. How do you tune your C string?
Very nice! I appreciate your time and effort to post this video.
Right now you can get it for $1 on humble bundle lol
not a good video - video uses the free Sampletank CS version
You did a great review thank you! I do have one question...Are the pads also configurable? Specifically can I interchange the snare on one pad with the bass kick on another pad?
Здравствуйте. Подскажите где сохраняются пресеты у TDR Nova GE
Thanks for the review, I was pondering on whether to check it out with the latest special offers on it. For anyone interested, at the moment on the IK Multimedia site they have the SampleTank 4 Max V2 discounted at £49.99, and Humble Bundle are doing a suite of 40 items (including SampleTank 4 Max v2 , 38 add-ons and some shop credit) for £23 for the next 20 days from the date of this comment.
I great tutorial and history lesson from a guy who lived it and clearly has deep appreciation for the art of sampling!
I fell into the Buchla trap, and I'm stuck between Bazille and Madrona Labs Aalto. Bazille sounds great but Madrona Labs also sounds great and has more of the traditional Buchla sound. Which one would you recommend?
A cello colleague of mine gave me this rosin. When I first applied to my bow, it made a HUGE difference in my playing. The articulation improved and the lower strings were more resonant. I'm not going back to my old rosin. I'm enjoying my practice time even more.

I find the review inaccurate on some points... The Synth: if you want it Analogue sounding, then you program it that way with all the many tools at your disposal... if you want it clean and Digital, you program it that way, again, with all the many tools at your disposal! 👍
Getting this or the prs archeon
Super useful review! Thanks, mate!

thankyou very much this is a very useful tutorial to start with!

4:04 that little nervous laugh after saying "frustration", you can hear aaaaaaaaall the years of banging that head on the wall with mixing haha !
Amazing video! Thanks!
Thanks to you! Fabio
Superb content from someone who knows his craft/ tools- a RUclips rarity! You deserve 100ks of likes & subs. Thank you for your efforts.
Have u really tryed the arpeggio? It's gltchy and not musical in any way, see? ... ruclips.net/video/F2KvK69hRQM/видео.html Why do people even care what u influencer people say... why was i? Deamn🤡
Great review very helpful.Thank you very much well done
You're welcome :) Fabio
Very comprehensive review, thank you..
Hi there, can you please make an explanation about how to bowing correctly. How to decide whether it should be up bow or down bow. Is there any rules about it? Thankyou in advanced
I have this thing and honestly it's TERRIBLE. It doesn't work with any other software besides Tonex. The tuner isn't accurate, and all I get is feedback when I try to use it with Mixcraft.
Check the input and output on whatever software you use. It works as a normal audio interface with any software. Fabio
What if i used multi fx processor, can it be and which input in irig hdx I used to, tnx bro❤
I you want to use your hardware multi fx unit and go to the interface it can be used like a normal audio inerface, you can record your input normally, instead to have a D.I. signal you will have your processed signal. But the point of this unit is to stream using the effects INSIDE your PC, so a plugin. If you don't need the Streaming feature go with little sister iRig USB.
Enjoyed this very much. I just acquired Zenology Pro so that I can more easily program sounds for my newly acquired Fantom-0 (bit difficult to have the Fantom on your lap while you're watching TV). I never realised just how deep the Zen-Core world went. I'm not worried about authenticity as I'm programming for gigs - the audience doesn't care if it's an accurate Oberheim OB-Xa, just give them a zuzzy sawtooth wave and play the intro to Jump and everyone's happy. As for "belching into a jam jar", I can sample that on the Fantom 😂
You can get the Roland Multipad for that much jack.
Great review! Hope there's more coming
Super review.
I think if you turn the effect knobs all the way to the left, it turns the effects off. Thanks, good video
Thanks for the advice! Fabio
The video is methodical and well-organized, I hope the channel grows more and more
Thank you! Fabio
