Perhaps I am wrong , but you have to encourage and support a child - because he is but a child and that is your duty as a parent (in the best case scenario with the support of your partner/husband ) ■ In the case of a man - he IS your knight in shining armour - if your armour has too many "cracks/chinks /dents " the chick ain't there to fix him /the armour - and you aren't there to fix her! You have to communicate ....or move on .

This guy has got this completely f****** wrong. conditioned from birth to come up with solutions to problems, and amongst men you are judged on your ability to do this. We are trained to do it by society from birth.
