I Learned allot about Korn from this Dope Ass interview!
E Town Concrete is a yes from me.
Great interview, very straight forward.❤
Yeah Faith no more we’re groundbreaking, I do love RHCP too.
When I heard the name I thought it was weird, but got over it once I heard them.
New album rules
🤘🤟👍myles the Best
Man that interviewer is really awesome and cool I wonder who he is
Hello Myles!! Can’t wait to see you down in AP in January ❤❤️🔥🤘💯
9:14 now it would be possible to share a tour / show with Linkin Park! Would be amazing!
You're welcome
🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
Such an Epic band. I hope they make it to Socal.
Go Bills
"Metallica's not running tracks" haye to trll you Dave, but they do. They have used tracks on backing vocals re ently.
Nope. Rob and sometimes Kirk does the backing vocals and you can 100% tell its live cause sometimes the vocals are just a bit shitty lol
@@MT-jr2vm right. Except there are vids of them performing material from 72 seasons where the backing vocals mysteriously sound amazing, like a second hetfield
@@unknownkingdom They don't use it live at the shows... But they do edit the pro-shot live videos they post in their RUclips to make corrections.
"Are people even gonna care about playing guitar in 20 years" yes, cos' there's lots of kids out there who are excellent players, so long as you stay away from them
Any chance to made interviews with :Ynwie, Jhon 5, Vinnie Moore, Macalpine,Tafolla,Gilbert,Jhon Sykes, Scott Ghorham from Thin Lizzy, George Lynch, Waren Di Martini (Ratt),Satriani,Vai, Akira Loudness, gary holt, , exodus, alex from testamet, Locicero from Forbidden, Vanderberg, , Don Dokken,Mick ,Pilson or Lynch, Ratt : Pearcy,Croucier or Blotz, Lita Fprd,, - Uriah Heep ,Jeff Waters (Annihilator) , Dee Snider, - Eddie Ojeda or Jay Jay French(Twisted Sister) - - Chris Caffery (Savatage ,TSO,Spirits of Fire) - Rudy Sarzo - Ynwie - Bobby or Ray Fates Warning - Lizzy Borden Holmes from WASP, Armored Saint,Zlozower,Mark Weiss,Def Leppard,Motley, Flotsam,Overkill,Anthrax, etc ?
I really think this whole thing came about from the Dimebash shows which started I think in 2010?. That’s when all these different guys started coming together and jamming. And then came the Metalmasters shows. Not that it matters much. David is cool, I really liked the first MA album.
WOOOOOOOOO!!! Can't wait to this show down at Starland next month! GO DAVE! Also, great questions, Mr. DJ! Thanks for this 🤘
I love you Head ❤❤
I remember first hearing Call For The Blood and I was very confused if I'm being honest. It was just such a weird song at first. But after I sat with it, and listened to more of the singles, and eventually the whole album, I absolutely love it. Polar Similar was the first Norma Jean album I really fell in love with, but Deathrattle has now taken the top spot. It's such a well constructed record. I still throw it on from time to time at work and I'm never bored from start to finish, there's no fat or filler.
call for the blood is one of the most innovative and out of the box sludge noise whatever i ever heard. I love it so much. THE B A S S
Imagine a few actual solos dropped in some KoRn songs, that would be wild lol.
Seeing them next month in Chicago. New album rocks! Still got my fingers crossed for that Karkaos to drop this year.
Good interview. I'd love to hear a 30min-1hr interview of just breaking down lyrics and going through the stories behind the songs lyrics. Lot's of interviews focus on the sonic parts and development process of the song, but imminence has great lyrics and I doubt people think through them enough to appreciate it.
Shadows Fall was my gateway to heavy metal, and now 20 years later they're still my favorite band. And Brian seems like such a nice guy who's just genuinely happy and excited to talk about his band and music in general. Very nice to see. I hope they'll come to Michigan at some point. Seeing them live is definitely on my bucket list
Final Transmission (ssss)
40 songs? Let's get those other songs out boyz!!
This doesn't make sense. The guitarist was the problem because he was dedicated to the band? Well that doesn't sound like he was the problem. Maybe the front man wanting to do 50 different projects was an issue for him? It's amazing how serj thinks that everything else is the issue but he is just so damn good. Honestly Lynyrd Skynyrd makes him look really bad. Chris Cornell and Chester both make him look like dog shit. Axel is 80 now and fat and can still hold his lungs better than serj can. Maybe when he made a song called the sky is over and a really stupid song at that. Maybe that was his career being over? Honestly this dude hasn't been prevalent since the early 2000s. He is literally 20 years late to the party. Must have that Chad Kroger personality. Thinks he is the shit but in reality just shit at that.
there's a difference between being dedicated and being toxically overprotective
He's the coolest ❤
Serj is beautiful voice,the best artist,gud man❤
SERJ IS THE BESTT
Nice job!!
Top 5 comments. Can't wait to see these guys in Maryland may 15th.
while JD has bipolar, from what I can see Brian has ocd. Notice how he aligns the threads of the tablecloth. 😅
Is this gonna be the first Korn album without Fieldy playing in it?
I think so!
It looks like it...
If the interviewer would just be interested in the questions and what Head answers. "Mh yeah....interesting......" next question
I've loved Korn over the years, and let's see where the next record goes. At 30 years, let's see how heavy it gets.
The new album is phenomenal. Sonata and Shadow of the Gods are among the best Bruce has produced. This and Chemical Wedding are among the only albums I will just hit play and listen to the entire thing from start to finish. Granted, Maiden has a few of those as well!
Korn is life! and life is peachy!
And that my friend is thee best KoRn record to date imo.
@@jdmatthews7639 It's up there for sure. Mr. Rogers, Swallow, A$$ Itch, and No Place To Hide are great songs. Porno Creep and Good God are classics too. Mr. Rogers is probably my favorite track from that album.
I love Korn from the beginning
Can't wait to hear the new album 2024 🤘🙏
Think we’re gonna have to wait till 2025 for it
When Eddie said Linkin Park I about threw my phone because wow, I can’t imagine what that tour would’ve been like 🥲
Great questions
It's great to see Brian give acknowledgement to Fieldy's contributions in writing rather than the usual downplaying the relevance of the dude who isn't in the band at the moment that some of the other members have done over the years.
No bad questions in the interview but what's with on interviewer left hand blue fingernails?!?!?
What's wong?
@@metalfordays Nothing but strange!?!?
Change up the setlist plllzzz
Listening to Imminence share their unique perspective on music is always refreshing. My favorite thing about them is that they're a Swedish band with ABSOLUTE raw authenticity. Nothing compares to that. They possess humility that is worthy of global admiration. 🖤
how do you not ask if Fieldy is recording on the album? swing and a miss
I love and miss Fieldy, but I have to be honest I actually really like Ra Diaz a lot too. If Fieldy doesn't want to return to the band then they should get Ra Diaz to write & record bass tracks for KoRn (2024). I saw this video promoting the tour with Gojira and the lady said the new KoRn album will be released on October 11th 2024. Which would be exactly around 30 years after their 94 album.
He's not they said they been in the studio and ra is prob there
@@LeadMe2TheBlisssource?
@@Norg1 According to a recent interview with Ra he said he "helps them with things in the studio" but he hasn't been recording with them...I wouldn't mind if Ra wrote and recorded bass parts, the guy studied Jazz Bass for 5 years at a music school in Chile. I have a feeling like Fieldy will record with them again just like with Requiem.
This was amazing
Korn new album Jonathan Davis, Brian Welch, James Shaffer, Raymond Luzier and Roberto Diaz
I would love to hear Roberto Diaz on the new album.
Don't expect Fieldy will return to the band it has been more than a years since he left
I wish Ra will use Ibanez K5 bass
