Time After Time (Chet Baker) Transcription (Bb)
So many giants came from Miles. Lovely to see Coltraine
Measure 12 going into 13 and the end of measure 30 both resolve to D not Eb
Measure 18 going into down beat of 19 chromatic approach tone(s)
measure 14...... triplet on the third beat (C#EF#)
Que bella música 🎶
Anyone hear a little Earl Bostic,,,,,
Dudes got no tooth
Wonderful and magic Chet
THANK YOU
Miles saying more when he’s not playing than most do when they are!
Great solo! Is there any way I could get a pdf (or other form) of the transcription?
pdf?
oh my goodness this is definitely it
Sublime...thank you for posting this AMAZINGLY inspirational video and transcription.
Just amazing! Tone, timing, phrases- wow this man was a treasure
❤️🩹
Elegant. Yes.
Clickbait
Sensational
try chet baker onfor size, got no dog in this fight
The beautiful thing about Miles’ solo is that it takes you to a place emotionally using a few precisely placed notes and rhythm AND space. It’s pure genius in my view.
hus simplicity makes it so amazing
Where's the piano part?
Just sounds like shit to me
How so?
🤭
For me this is one of the most beautiful solos ever on a jazz ballad. Just perfect and straight to the heart.
I can play like him!!!! in my dreams
che roba grazie
Clickbait title. They're playing the head.
It's cool though
playing it in a cool tho way
did they change the title since this comment ? lol
@@aferdeath9320 lol. no, it's the original title. lol. And if you can't recognize this is just the head of A Night In Tunisia then you don't know Jazz. lol.

SLAAAAYYYY
Chet is the one who taught Yoda
Beautiful ..... great Chet and very good transcription. Thk's.
Nice! Coltrane is just peacefully waiting before he comes in like a, well........TRAIN!
Delicate genius.
Yessir
music
All wrong with the flautist. He is ready to play from bar 17, but of course there are 50 more bars to go. It turns a delightful video into a thriller.
And then he plays one note.
Hot 🥵! !
HA~HA~HA~HA~i do love you Master Chet! but i can't help.....HA HA HA HA~~~
It's a valiant effort to try and transcribe Chet's timing... he hits the beats that matter, but in between, he just does his own thing. Things like these, I like to just sketch out with rough timing, and do a whole lot of listening, in order to grasp his feel, rather than try to pinpoint it exactly.
wtf you are addressing minutiae when this guy wa s beaten senseless by drug dealers? ahaha
@@tacey505 I don't know what you are talking about... I'm talking about music.
@@gnaagren I think he just had some flashbacks is all…..

Спасибо!!!:)
RIP
Epic... Those notes vibrating in the ether forever with Chet
C'est le solo de Coltrane qui est le plus intéressant.
I thank you Chet for all the beautiful music!!!!
Chets timing is so fluid the sheet music is just a guide.
That… that’s what all sheet music is
that sheet music looks so difficult, i wonder if i will ever be able to read it
Hey bro! Relax, even the bests started from the bottom, then to the top.
@@abelcabral846 haha yeah i can already read it lol
@@pp_h easy to read it once you memorize the way it sounds from the recording. Then memorize the solo for posterity.
