In August, three NPC volunteers visited the Rwamagana HVP Gatagara. It is a school for the visually impaired, where the students learn maths, Braille writing, how to use a computer, as well as many other things. Also, the school has a Goalball team that is the current national champion.

From the 12th to 19th February NPC Rwanda hosted a remarkable event. Coming from five different east african countries, 55 young athletes with different disabilities participated in the Youth Workshop 2012 organized by the Agitos Foundation in partnership with the National Paralympic Committees of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda.
