    Congrats on finding this method too :) I've just started it myself after I made changes that probably reduced my ciliary spasm like more time outdoors, reducing my glasses use indoors - I was at -2.75 glasses which were starting to give me awful headaches. Now I've got -2.25 from a friendly optometrist and they're already becoming pretty crystal clear in the far distance after starting fairly blurry ☺

    It's great to hear that there is a safe new method for myopia but it's still just a hypothesis. Endmyopia's channel is about only this active focus method explaining it I believed it at first but then i tried it and my eyes started to ache two days after i feared taking risk and thought about it but i just see people on social media talking about it's success we don't even know if what these people are saying is true or not or wether they concluded right or not . Doctors and science tell you if you tire your eye you may develop myopia here they say something a bit different and still not sure i am scared i will have reversed sonsequences if i try it but i actually started limiting screen time spending more time outside eye exercises for eye strain idk about the rest 🤷 Please if there is anyone who tried it and got results hope u guys share it ty😊

    Please help me! I have had 20/20 vision the entirety of my life up until this point (I recently just turned 16). I noticed only my right eye was slightly blurry when looking at a distance. I got my eyes checked and the results were: Left Eye 20/20, Right Eye -0.5 to -0.75. The optometrist recommended me MiyoSmart glasses to slow down the progression of Myopia. I have tried wearing them and notice no actual difference and my eyes feel weird after wearing them. Although they are specifically made to slow myopia, I have heard too many stories of glasses worsening myopia and starting a chain reaction of it continually worsening. I have started following EndMyopia recommendations. Would you recommended I wear the glasses at all? (I have no vision issues when looking out of both my eyes without the glasses). Apologies for a lengthy message but a response would be greatly appreciated!

    • @NotNearsighted
      @NotNearsighted 16 часов назад

      Hi there, I prefer to not making any recommendations but I really encourage you to learn about cilliary spasm. Normally the first sign of blurry vision is cilliary spasm that can go away by less close up time and more distance vision. Check out the endmyopia.org resources! Good luck!!

  • @thanksssd

    I am 16, up until this point I have had 20/20 vision my entire life. I recently noticed out of my right eye only things at a distance were slightly blurry. I went to get my eyes tested and my left eye is still 20/20 but my right eye is slightly myopic (-0.5 to -0.75). The optometrist recommended MiyoSmart glasses to slow down the progression of myopia. She said to wear them all the time except for sleeping. I understand wearing them when looking at my phone or reading can increase my myopia. I don’t even notice a difference when wearing the glasses and my vision is temporarily weird after taking them off. Should I wear the glasses or not wear them and attempt natural remedies such as active focus, or distance viewing in the real world? An answer is greatly appreciated

    Hello, thank you for this video, it's really useful I have 1.5-2 hours distance vision time a day😊 I've got a question about distance hobbies because I'm struggling with that but I can just do to work a lot and maybe you have some other ideas except bike? And next question : where I live there getting dark at 5:00 p.m. or so and if I have my walk at 6 pm and then stay at my room, it's impossible to practice a distance vision, it's too dark even to look at window, so since 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time, so I'm spending time just doing close up (it's my woring hous as well), sometimes doing my I eye chart for 10 minutes breaks after 1 h close up, so if you have any other idea for dark time, share please 😊❤

    Have you considered multifocal lenses so you have both differential and normalized strengths in the same lenses? It might be worth it for students while in lectures.

    • @NotNearsighted
      @NotNearsighted 20 дней назад

      I haven't actually, I wonder if that would disrupt the peripheral image and give headaches? Have you tried this?

    • @Ben-pk4cv
      @Ben-pk4cv 19 дней назад

      @NotNearsighted I was in college several years ago so I haven't needed to try this. I was thinking that in a lecture maybe students could look through the top area of the lens to see the instructor and through the bottom to see their notes, laptop, books etc. Jack Steiner talked about this once for painters, I think. That video may no longer be on RUclips. He took some down since I found him several years ago. I've thought that I'm glad I'm not in school to sort out my vision. Might also be able to just wear normalized and have breaks between classes outside or looking out a window into the distance. At the end of the day, if your eyes feel good and not tired or strained, then that person must be doing enough to improve. My problem is I like my phone and streaming videos too much so I just stay the same. At least I'm not getting worse because I use differentials when I do my I job using a computer.

As I improve, I will see that my monitor will be further back more often. I have made this more measurable with the homemade laminated rulers.
