Oh my - it would have been 6.80 just to buy the ticket to the airport including the tram. The transportation system is integrated all sharing the same tickets - so if you see this - don't do what they did. Also - the comment about just buying tram tickets every time makes no sense. Once you buy the second ticket - you already have paid for a full 24h - so unless you truly certainly only will need one (i.e. direct to airport and out . . . ) then it is best to get 24h ticket from when you need it and you can time it that you do not need one per day based on the way the 24h overlaps.

I posted this comment on another one of your videos. Do you know much about the yellow-headed caracara? I know that they are generally in South America, in Panama. That’s a very long way from California! Well….we have one in Southern California! We don’t know how it got here but It lives in our neighborhood, spends a lot of time in our large tree, for a few months now. It’s very friendly and it hangs out with our neighborhood crows. They are literally together like family all day. It is no threat at all to anyone or anything. It even shares it’s food with them. Neighbors feed it food like fresh chicken, bread, fruits. I wondered if it gets lonely because it’s the only one of its kind but like I said, the crows are like it’s family. We’ve come to Love this beautiful bird. It brings so much joy to so many. How in the heck do you think it got here? I pray that it remains alright and content as it seems. Your opinion is very much appreciated. Thank you.🙏😊

I have a love/hate relationship with DTW. Concourse A is a mile long, indeed, and the PeopleMover never seems to be effective for me--my gate is somehow always in the middle of the stations, meaning I end up walking more than the tram saved me. However, yes, it is a clean airport, and Delta does offer several lounges throughout their concourses.

Do hotels in Zurich give out free public transportation passes for 3-4 days stay in Zurich.

I did this the opposite way around going from Cologne to Frankfurt. Cheaper than flying direct to from the NW of England

Hey, quick question- did you ever bring cash with you when you travelled to Germany? And if so, did you ever used it? And when did you used it?

I kinda need this. I'm traveling to Frankfurt this month for a few days by myself for the first time, and I'm tryna wing it out before I head to Ulm for business work ( and I'm trying to figure out that as well on how to get there)

The great thing about Swiss public transport is it is a largely unified system so the buses, trams and trains all interact wonderfully and the timetable at least when we purchased the last paper copy was a country wide timetable of buses, trams and trains in four fat volumes.

You made here a little mistake. The short distance ticket to the train station was not necessary. You could by the ticket to the airport already at "Hottingerplatz" I would cost 6.80 CHF. I would be valid for all puplic transportation in zone 110 (Zürich City) and zone 121 (Airport and the wider surroundings)

Not gonna lie: as somehow who has laid over in many hubs DTW is my all time favorite! Would do it again!

I think you might have actually bought a ticket at the initial tram stop that would have been good all the way to the airport and that should have turned out slightly cheaper than buying a separate tram ticket. All of the transport in the Zurich metro area is ticketed by the ZVV under a zone system and this tickets include transfers where needed.
