What kind of RFI probe are you using here ?
Hi, i believe the iec 16000-4-2 ESD standard requires any walls or metallic objects to be atleast a 1 meter radius away from the DUT. The robot here looks like its much less that 1 meter away. Does this violate ESD testing standards?
Yes, that is correct. However, exhaustive waveform verification has shown insignificant change in waveform and its specifications (rise time, magnitude, fall time, etc.) as a result of replacing a person holding the ESD generator with a robotic arm. The waveform is still fully compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 standard. The main reason for this phenomena could be explained as human body (operator) holding the ESD generator is also partially conductive and would have reflective and absorptive effects on the electrodynamics of the generated waveform.

Electron flow is opposite to electric current convention isn't?
That's correct. The conventional electric current direction is in opposite direction of electron movement. What the video shows is the visualization of conventional current direction and not the movement of electrons. Well, some people think of electric current direction as movement of positive charges just to make it easier to analyze (even though it is not accurate in reality).
