It’s a gorgeous bag. And the sling is very versatile!

Hi. The Nik has more organization with the zipper pockets on the outside and it sits nice and flat on top of a suitcase for travel. While its longer than the medium and large metro totes, it’s not as wide. The large tote definitely holds more than the Nik but there’s not a lot of structure. Nik has a nice handle drop and also a laptop sleeve which the totes do not have (but they easily fit a laptop if needed). Nik also has the exterior side pockets and interior elastic bottle pockets as well. The totes when not over packed appear more purse like (they can squish down) whereas the Nik always appears large because of its length and structure.

Look like it would make a great personal item for an airplane (under American's size limit and just a fraction over for United's--I bet it wouldn't be an issue because it's so soft). Like the external pockets for organization as well as the exterior water bottle pockets. I struggle because I often bring a 14" laptop plus camera equipment, but I think it would all fit.

@@Dvee5 The leather is absolutely amazing! Looks really luxury. And they have limited adition in it as I understand. The only thing the leather is different then other bags in leather we know - very very soft and smooth. Unusual in touch. But I really love it.

I carried it all day around the city and it was great. It’s small, holds the necessities, phone, small wallet or card holder, lipgloss, & glasses if in a soft case.

@@Dvee5 how about sequins, they don't bother when they touch? I presume they are soft. Because I have one dress with sequins and they live marks everywhere like scratches :(

@@natashalove5048 they are reversible, I liked to keep them a little mixed silver and gold. I had no issues with scratching against my clothes.

Yes definitely. Anthracite keeps its shape better but it’s not stiff, I really like it. It’s also easy to wipe clean.

Thanks for that info. I had purchased it in black nylon but returned it as it was too soft. I was hoping the anthracite would be a stiffer version, plus I love the Anthracite, so I’ll give this bucket a try. Thanks!

Hi! Happy holidays to you as well! I have a Nik packing video too. It’s a great bag, but large. Good for one to 2 nights overnight I would say or if you carry a lot daily such as gym clothes to change into its also perfect for that. The pale rose gold is one of my favorite colors. It’s super easy to keep clean. I have spilled coffee on it and just wiped it off 😅

@@Dvee5 Thanks! I bring a ton of stuff to work each day for myself and my son so I love bigger bags. Can the side pockets fit larger water bottles? I have a 32 ounce I bring every day. I have that pearl white color in the metro tote and it makes me nervous so glad to hear it's easy to clean!

@@shanshan161616 my largest bottle is a 24oz so I can’t speak for the 32 fitting. What I like is that there’s an elasticized pocket inside that can also hold a bottle.

My sons 13” MacBook fits with plenty of room. My 14” also fits bc of the extra material of the top zipper it allows it to expand.

The small is pearl metallic.

@@kimj.2445 the pearl fabric is actually easy to clean. Baby wipes usually do the trick!

While I have not personally taken this bag on a plane yet, I have friends who have and it can be used as a personal item and fits under the seat! The squishiness factor is what’s so great

I didn’t. The colors didn’t work so well with my wardrobe. But I did really like the material.

@@Dvee5 So interesting that the material was a little different; there were quite a few (mostly negative) reviews of the pattern/colors on Facebook but I don’t recall anyone else mentioning the fabric texture itself. The moment you did, though, everything clicked for me! I’m thinking the “shiny-ness” of the fabric combined with that particular color mix resulted in the unfortunate comparisons on FB to a slab of raw meat or bacon. I know I was quite surprised when I compared the FB “actuals” to the product photos on MZW. And I was amazed in the difference between your bag and pouch, color intensity-wise. Once again, an excellent review!

Hi. Yes I did. I love it from what I’ve seen on their social media. I looove my Bowery backpack bc of the Bedford fabric so I think I would really like the quilted Bowery fabric. It’s like the best of Bowery and metro all in one 😃That large hobo style bag is calling my name! It’s so chic. I’m hoping to get to the new MZ Wallace store next week to see it in person!

@@Dvee5 I know! The hobo and the quatro tote caught my eye. My bday is coming up and I'm torn between another mz wallace or trying caraa sport. I like their studio tote but there aren't very many reviews on it

@@shanshan161616 decisions decisions! I don’t have any Caraa bags but I’ve heard good things about the sling, that it was squishy and comfy! The one thing I like about the quilted Bedford bags is the versatility you get with the straps. They both have the crossbody and the chain. The Quattro is more of a work type bag to me but can still transition to evening out after work. Also the Madison shopper looks like a good tote option too. The hobo is just fun all around! That would be my “treat myself” bag 🥳

It’s definitely the medium :) small doesn’t have a luggage sleeve.

@@Dvee5 my bad, I tuned out. Must have been the poor quality vertical video that's throwing the size off on camera.

Thats because she put the wrong name. This is the small metro. The medium is much bigger with a luggage sleeve. Its a good size for travel and everyday.

This is the medium and I point out the luggage sleeve in the video. IMO it’s plenty big for a plane carry on. The large is huge! If you can I would check out the large in store. I don’t have one to compare for you. Good luck with your travels !

Hi. I’ve been using the medium link pouch in pearl for a few weeks. I just noticed a little makeup on it and it wiped off with a baby wipe! I’m going to try Apple Gard rain and stain repellent on the tote. I have used another one from Guardsman on the pale rose gold metallic (similar fabric) and it worked well. No residue or change on color of the bag. However the Guardsman is only for fabric not leather. Apple Gard is good for leather as well so it shouldn’t affect the trim. I’ll let you know how it turns out. I love the small Sutton, great sized everyday bag. I hope you love it.

So far yes! I have 3 days left in my window. It’s truly gorgeous, I think I’ll throw caution to the wind and just enjoy the bag! I’ll probably treat it with Apple Gard which is a rain and stain repellant. I’ll let y’all know how that goes.

@@deborahburdzy5480 hi. While I switched the bag for the smaller size (small Sutton to be exact) the apple garde seems to do it’s job or perhaps it’s just the fabric itself. I have had luck with wiping marks away including lip gloss!
