When trying to get a smooth transition with the neocolor I find it helps to layer the colors. Starting with the lightest over the entire area, then each successive darker color, one on top of the next. Of course this only works with colors that will mix nicely. The darker colors are always the hardest to get smooth since they are the furthest in tone from the white paper, the others underneath give it more depth, and since they are mixing and not simply running into each other, they blend much more smoothly. You don't need as many colors either as those transitional colors just happen with the mixing.

1:20:35 just keep it simple dear. 😊 you already done a beautiful job. finish the elements, add a little blue for the sky and green for the ground and call it a day. twice in this video you showed a beautiful centerpiece with background that you felt overpowered your stunning work unfavorably. I watch you for a long time and must tell you, you're a fabulous artist and a very sweet person. I can relate to you a great deal and I appreciate you. And I wish you a happy new Year. ❤

I love Wild Winter, it was the first Mythographic book I bought. While it does have objects they fit into the pages, so they aren't problematic. That was the first book I spiral bound, I had similar issues with the perforations coming apart, especially since I use plastic as a backing page, the edge just separated the pages right off. What do you think about the ring binding on your other book? It's by far the least expensive option for home binding but I'm worried it's not very secure? I usually have mine done professionally but have been looking for another option, I've had a few books cut way too short by staff who didn't take enough care with them... plus it's not really expensive for one book, but does add up when you get a bunch of them done...it's also hard for my schedule since the print shop is open the same hours as my work schedule.

I think your King Candy is lovely.. I think it has just enough colors, any fewer and it would have been hard to tell the elements apart. I like the contrast between the pastel and the antiqued muted colors. That metallic gold is lovely as well, gentle and soft. I wasn't aware they had metallic Bic Intensity, I may have to look for those. I had some years ago, I can't handle the smell of Sharpies but the Bic's had much less odor.
