Is a 70 mm teak deck, 70 mm thick? You must be referring to the width of the staves.
It shall be “ an 7 mm thick teakdeck” 70 mm is also too large for the with off the slats i ,they are max 50 mm probably less.

There is no sprayhood, no awning, no platform for the solar panels and nothing to carry the dingy. If it is not necessary to sit bent over in the toilet like Hutting46 it may be suitable for parties at the marina.

The Dutch design and build good sailboats, but for some reason they have suffered from an aluminum epidemic and they are not aware of this epidemic. If the hull was strong GRP instead of aluminum and the option of a molded non-slip deck instead of teak, I would be a happy customer.
This is a buyers market....the golden days are over. Beautiful boat, when the price drop below 100K, I will be interested.
I fell in love with the hull and interior design but unfortunately only the aluminum version is available, I wish the shipyard had also offered a solidly built GRP hull option in parallel with the aluminium. The Dutch have excellent sailboat designs, but unfortunately almost all of their shipyards are affected by the aluminum epidemic.

Lovely boat but having had a steel yacht i wont touch a boat with timber on it. If i had an Aluminium yacht i would not want wood near it either.
What a beautiful yacht. A fast yacht is a safer yacht, if it retains its seaworthiness. To outrun a squall or tropical storm means less time exposed to hazards on the ocean.

Actually had the pleasure of CREWING, sorta, on Australia II. Raced against STEAK & KIDNEY in Airlie Beach.
Ik kijk er nog een keer naar, en zie de zeer positieve specs die de boot heeft. Rompmateriaal alu? Bouwt Bloemsma de casco's? Ik vind het een ideaal ontwerp. Dick Koopmans was mijn buurman in Lelystad (Verenigingshaven) daar hebben we menig gesprek gevoerd.
Hi! Ja Bloemsma heeft de meeste Alu casco's voor ons gebouwd inderdaad! Wat leuk dat Dick Koopmans senior uw buurman was; als iemand weet hoe je zeewaardige zeiljachten ontwerpt is hij het absoluut. :)
Een ontwerp waar heel de wereld wel iets heeft bijgedragen ❤dat zie je terug. Beter iets goed gestolen dan slecht ontworpen. Als loyd's er dan een stempel, goedgekeurd op plakt.🎉😊.

@@corvavw6447 Rustler shipyard has a history of high quality workmanship and reliability and it also represents the Bowman legacy. Rustler produces sailboats with incredibly strong hulls using composites, so it does not have to use sensitive materials such as aluminum like some companies.

Het ziet eruit als een ontwerp van Dick Koopmans Sr. Als ik naar het interieur kijk dan wordt mijn vermoeden sterker. Totaal ander schip dan de huidige comfort containers. Geen ramen in de romp; perfect. Kleine ramen in de bovenbouw, nog beter. Als ik 40 jaar jonger was geweest zou ik zoiets wel kopen.

@ricardocosson1105 On the Spanish and Portuguese coasts, more than 20 sailing boats have been attacked by orcas, more or less seriously, and at least three have sunk - orcas generally attack the rudders! I don't think anyone has died yet.

Looking at that old style bow, just how many years were they looking back? Don't modern yachts also have a swim platform these days? A vinyl dodger really? Why didn't they go the extra mile and give the boat a hard one which will last and give the users better protection? Single wheel to make moving around the aft of the cockpit difficult... Yup, this boat has got it all....
Hi Alfred! There are many types of yachts, each serving a certain preference. The modern yachts you describe are used for different end-goals compared to our yachts, which are designed for long-distance cruising.
The only criticism I can make of the shipyard is the lack of a GRP option, a solid and properly built GRP option would attract the attention of many serious customers.
