How much time and practice it takes to get good NA? Also does it play differently on different sides on Tabala?
@mucool123 Thanks for asking. If you practise consistently (daily 15 mins is also good) you should see improvements in 15-20 days. Normally if the tabla is good it should sound the same on all sides. The tone can change due to the pressure and point of contact of your finger with Tabla.

Depends on which place you want yo buy it from. Most basic Tabla set in India can cost around 5k INR. Its equivalent in UK would be around 100-150 pounds and in US around 200-250 US dollars. Glad to know that you’re interested in learning. Best wishes.
