No one can afford to restore these anymore so they leave them as is and label it patina, paint alone will run you ten grand.

Very solid unmolested truck. Hard to find them in original condition. I would definitely do the body work and put a coat of black paint on it.

Had one of these for about 3 months transmission went out on the interstate and I had to drive from Knoxville to Nashville at 25 miles an hour almost didnt make it back.

@@524RNH Most likely . The front grill looks pre-‘85 as well. Nice fox body though. I have an ‘85 GT hatchback with 37k original miles. Starting to become rare.

I had one just like that but mine had the 4 spd w/granny low. I traded a VW bug for it and we both must have been smerking as I drove away as the bug needed crank bearings and as I soon found out, the truck needed a slave-cylinder for the clutch. LOL it even had the wood stock racks on it like this one, same color too.
