No, there is a video claiming they are because they don’t literally cure colour blindness. I’m colour blind and they work for me. They improve colour perception.

They block a wavelength of light that causes confusion between colours, allowing people with deuteranomaly or protanomaly to see colours they wouldn’t be able to see without them.
