it's more of a Cyclo Cross bike than a real gravel bike (steering angle for example). And the rear is quite hard. It is important to find the right rear tire to compensate and provide more flexibility. The wheels are also important. Today, I ride it with the new Fox on the front, it raised the bottom bracket and gave it more angle. It is now really cool!

@@118cbl95 that sounds good! are you using 2.1 tires now? Do you think wider tires with lower psi will make the ride more comfortable? Thank you so much!

@@creamroller I use 700x40 wide tires but with Tan sidewalls. They are more flexible and therefore more comfortable.

@@cycloboyriley there s no Brain on the new Epic EVO, and of course ! I said the suspension, because the fork and the rear shock are better quality

Instinct has better handling than the Altitude, and he's so easy to ride. Suspension travel is enough because rear is working so nice ! The grip is amazing and with the Ride 9 you can have more ramp up if you need. So, Instinct for me ;-) And if you want as travel as Altitude, juste need to change the shock for a longer (The front shock mount on the frame is adjustable)

C'est surtout que j'étais en réglage ouvert du Ride 9... Mais en position neutre ou fermé, l'histoire aurait été encore plus sympa ;-)

J'ai préféré ancien mais je n'aimais pas son moteur. Ici avec le Shimano EP8 cela change la donne coté motorisation. Dommage que le cadre de soit pas aussi efficace que l'ancien.

yes there difference, the wheels for exemple. They are in carbon rim on the expert. They give a quicker reply, but for the rest (transmission ...) it's just for the ego ;-)

First, it's more an cyclocross than a gravel. Second, it's not a comfort bike (you need to use tubeless tyre like the Maxxis Rambler with Light Tan Wall , with are more comfort than black). Third, it's not really light. I was happy to ride with but I prefer my other bike, the Rondo Ruut CF.

I just rode it during 6 month. And no problem during this time
