    I have diesel fuel smell in my reservoir 6 0 powerstroke Has anyone had luck with blue devil on a 6 0 any advise Do I need to flush and remove the thermostat Thanks.

    Well here I go I have a 2004 6.0 been having this problem for a while change caps, radiator, degas bottle and many other parts Good while driving around town but when I pull my fifth wheel same problem leaks everywhere this last trip just got on the road about 8 miles in and the degas bottle blew up no overheating nothing just blew!! I’m hoping it’s not the head gaskets🙏🏼but that’s the last straw if it is I’ll go back to chevy🤷🏻‍♂️

      Ya the oem ones are junk. You should change yours out if you still have oem one

    X-ray vision used to diagnose head gasket and not cap..mine blue it's fluid out..cap keeps clicking around and around...he's cap today clicks once and is tight ..it don't go click click click click...drove for a hour and level still at min...more driving needed and when it blew out the fan was going full blast..85 mph thru Montana at a slight grade for 65 miles...not my brightest move

    I had my system allowing fluid out when hot it was the cap, check that first

      Blockage isn't gonna cause this, most likely Head Gaskets.

      It is the cap. It happens to all stock clicking caps.

    How are you sure that’s a head gasket? It could just be the cap itself right??????? Mines doing this. No smoke out the tailpipe like it SHOULD. What is my issue?

      The caps from autozone are actually better than the stock cap. Ford put the caps they used for everything on these and they don't hold pressure. The autozone caps hold more pressure so the coolant can get hotter before it actually begins to boil.

      Funny I must have had a bad cap then. They're garbage from Autozone. They don't even click when fully tightened. Mine held no pressure.

      Red Poole you mean international engine then Yes international designed them and built them Ford just told international to tune it to there spec's and use a different injection system same with the 6.0 and the 6.4 Ford only desgined and built the 6.7 powestroke that's all

      Red Poole I’m owner of 2 6.0 f350 f450 I’m around 400,000 f450 f350 285,00 complete stock , I can bit you ram to Canada and come back with no problem I don’t think 🤔 you Cummins can do that

      I’m sorry I Own a 2006 6.0 freaking stunning truck. But the Cummins it the best Diesel. 6.0s are fast but not a dependable as a Cummins

      it is just a sigin that someone had the problem before and there may be some underyling issues to follow

      You want the truck to have a egr delete will mean less problems.

      In my experience a bullet proofed EGR is way better than the delete gas temps start around 1200 pulling and you get pretty good mileage​@@wyattalthouse4596

    Min mark is the new full mark. Check the cap first. Caps will cause it to blow coolant too.

      Mine loses coolant slowly I heard the cap hissing and my coolant is at the max like I ordered a new cap so should I go to the min line mine doesn’t have that sticker
