how do you remove the relay?
Hello all, I hope that I can get some help with the transmission mount.. When I try to take the top bolt off of the stud, the rubber mount turns with it. I only turn it a bit because I don’t want to break anything. But if I tighten it back, it tightens and won’t spin. I think the nut, stud, and rubber are moving together. What can I do?
I hate these stupid silent videos
Toyota has the worst design for maintenance!!!!! They want you to go to the dealership

That's 300 dollar. I would crack it open to see what caused it before I junk it.
there is a guy on youtube ( with S class mercedes i think ) who CLAIMS that you don't have to remove wiper cover, wipers, the motor assembly etc in order to get to the area you can just reach the heat control valve from the left of the engine and by REMOVING THE STEEL PLATE / the barrier is that possible i looked it it doesn't look feasible what's your opinion ?
The valve is in front of driver side, right under the wipers and motor, how can he reaches it from passenger side ? Why make the work more difficult ?
@@jfj138 no not from the passenger side but from the left of the engine i guess on the right when you look at the engine from the driver side do you get it?
@@christophercolumbus8944 he may get the valve out that way, but to install he could not have clear view, it’s not a good short cut. Doesn’t save time or make to job easier.
@@jfj138 right it makes sense how did you remove the OLD VALVE is there a pin holding it?? or you just pull?
@@christophercolumbus8944 there are few clips need to be removed and re-install, that’s why you want to have clear view to see it, otherwise good luck.
what size motor is in your vehicle? cannot find ANY videos or info on the V8 E500's and the relays for airmatic suspension
E500 4 Matic is V8 engine ,302 hp, torque 339 lb. ft.
All of the above😄😁
You are only testing the relay coil not the switching contacts these contacts switch the high current load of the airmatic pump and need testing.
How should we test it?
I think you can take it out by just pushing the radiator forward guy
Just take the old pulley out and replace with a new one or just replace the bearing only. Why do you have to do so much unnecessary work? You are making your life a lot harder than needed.
P0rq saca uno cuando le cambie el aceite de tramiccion
Bro ur doing too much. Alls u have to do is replace the pulley. No need to remove all those parts.
Bro u showed absolutely nothing by pointing at stuff u already did. U were better off just sitting down talking about it also u don’t have to do all that much work. Replace the pulley on the tensioner that’s it. Fans alternator ac compressor don’t have to be removed
Just what I needed thank you
Nice video bro 😎

I just replaced the power steering pump for first time. I used 3 ft extension and 14 mm swivel socket and another 3/8 swivel to got it out between the exhaust manifold but putting it back together was extremely difficult. This job on the pay 1.5 labor. 14 mm long bolt kick my ass today......ㅠㅠㅠ

What do you grease on cv axel?
I just did the NIGHTMARE JOB. The Nissan Engineer that designed this defentley has a Hatred for America. He knew that Americans don't have small tiny hands like the Japanese do and knew that these VECHILES were getting shipped to the 🇺🇸.
Lee Stimson engineers design this stuff on a piece of paper before they drop it into the front compartment.... and they want you to take the car back to dealer for repairs, so you will pay Big bucks ! Damn shame.
Where is the first bolt you pointed to? I can't figure it out.

@1:30 for the armatic could I just let car braking system go to sleep by not opening any of the doors, and keep shut until job is complete? Tks for the vide
You don’t need to remove brake calipers, so brake pump will not act.
Steering knuckle, tie rod the bolt from strut will release the front axle.
Dave Johnson just unplug the air shock in case it kicks on .
@@jfj138 Understood! Thanks again for the help
How did you loosen the back bolt? I can't break it free. I've got everything else off except for that one bolt. I can't find a way to get more leverage. Any ideas? Maybe a jack under the wrench? I think it has enough of an angle for it.
be patient, use the 14mm wrench to break loose. you may not see the bolt but use your hand to locate it first, you can do it.
@@jfj138 I can't do it! I'm too weak hahaha I'll keep trying though.
Thomas Wilkerson you can do it, use second wrench locks on the first one as leverage.

Good explanation!
PULLEY is the problem, not the whole tensioner !!!
U cannot get the correct pulley without buying the complete tensioner assembly. We’ve tried, and I have 1 in the shop right now that I replaced the alternator, and totally installed it, realized the stupid tensioner was bad, went to order parts. Pulley by itself- nonexistent! Thanks
Just remove the pulley off the tensioner and change out the bearing in the pulley. Cost me $16.00 on Amazon for my 08 es350.
Pull the tensioner pulley off and replace the bearings only and then screw back on. 6203 2rs Timken ball bearing double sealed on amazon $5.00 each or japanese bearing or other just read the reviews on each. I was quoted $350.00 for the entire part at the dealer and then another 2-4 hundred for labor i did it for under 50.00 with a press shop
My wife 2011 Lexus ES 350 had the same problem today. The tension pulley bearing was cooked and tored the belt in half. Today she pulled out the drive way I could smell something was wrong but I let her drove because I just did her oil change last , thinking it could be from oil spilled on engine during refill. Anyway, I did the same thing like you did. Just replace the bearing but the burnt rubber part of the belt is fused with the 2 other idle pulleys so I had to buy replacements for $52 each plus cost of the 2 bearings for the tensioner pulley and the belt total $156
Video?
I have to do one tmro in the morning. interesting job
I have an Avalon witch is about the same. If you drain the radiator and disconnect the hoses you can unbolt the radiator and just slide to the left. there is no need to totally pull it out. I had to move it to replace the alternator. This is a time consuming job. Once the radiator is slid over you have plenty of room.
Y didn’t you replace the pulley only instead the whole thing
U can’t even get the pulley without the tensioner
@@ppump24valve53 just take it off that new part? That's what I'm thinking of doing
Exact same problem for my gs350. That sound is driving me crazy.
lucky for u ,u got a lift im doing this in rocks and the vehicle hieght off the ground is limited...but thx for the video
How did you end up breaking that back bolt free?
Did you have to let the refrigerant out of the system, or can you move the A/C compressor forward enough without disconnecting the hoses?
Stephen Bay just lose 4 long bolts on AC compressor and disconnect 2 plugs, then pull away let it lay on front frame, so you have room to lose the tensioner bolts.
One can just change the pulley on the tensioner no need to take everything out unless, the spring in the tensioner is broken, for those with faulty pulley just change that, dont get scammed by dealer.
it doesn't say how to fix a 1993 Nissan Altima

you are not a mechanic, you are a parts replacement guy. A mechanic would have changed the rubber boot. pffff
only cheapo do the boot replacement nowaday, the internal bearing already exposed to the dirt, you don't just pack in the grease, wise guy.

So, looking at the rear of the truck, its on the driver's side, plugs facing rear of the truck?
+ron davis yes, lower is drain plug, upper is fill plug, always loose the filler first.
