This shit is sick, P-Dap killed it. He was dope in the 90's with the Shadyville Allstars thing but for whatever reason they never put out an album which is sad because it could have arguably been a classic. Of course Sha blew up as a producer, but P-Dap is somewhat a forgotten mc.

I actually liked Nas' verse a bit more here. Post-IWW Nas had a tendency to have clunky rhyme schemes imo (the official "John Blaze" verse was AAAA/BB/C/DDD/EEEE/F/GG for example). There were still internal rhymes of course, and the first half of one line can rhyme w/ the previous line but not its end but I think this Nas verse flowed better than the official one.
