Crimson Ridge Fat Biking, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario
I'd been hoping to get a chance to check this place out but due to mild temps. it has been closed since my arrival 6 days ago. Luckily we got hammered by snow in the last 24 hrs. and temps dropped to -10 degrees C and they groomed it last night. I was the first one on the trail early morning so it was a little sluggish as all unridden groomed trails are but I lowered my tire pressure to about 3-5 psi and had a blast. This place is beautiful and I hope to get a chance to ride it one day when it's hard packed. The groomer passed me a couple times today trying to pack it down as best as he could and I was grateful, he goes by me during my first encounter with two friendly dogs. I hope this v...

The weather has been mild all week so the trails have been closed. Another amazing outing at Hiawatha on a totally different x/c system. This place is a great destination with countless options for x/c skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking. There are many other opportunities in and not far from Sault Ste. Marie but I'm only here for 7 days so I will be here every day and will still go home leaving areas untouched. All the snow is gone 9 hrs. away where I live and the same mild temps. and rain showed up here but luckily they had a ton of snow to win the fight and my trip is looking up as today's ski was so much better than I could have imagined. With all the gear to tackle many outdoor activities it looks like I might actually get the chance to use them all! Cheers to the Soo and thanks so much for watching!

This place is old school fun, plenty of climbing followed by loose rocky descents and I think the place is best ridden with some speed as there are plenty of spots where keeping your momentum up after the downhills is truly beneficial to the quality of this ride, my opinion of course. We rarely have snow on Global Fatbike Day and this year we had too much for plan "A" but as luck would have it, Kirby's area didn't receive as much and we were able to groom it the afternoon before and enjoy it all day with different people showing up to ride all through the day. This was our first ride on day 3 of our "Slay the Dragon" tour and a beauty it was. A well built, buttery smooth, 20km trail roughly 45 minutes from Newaygo State Park and worth the drive.

This was our second ride of the day, our first being Mosquito Creek so this was a perfect add on to get a little more mileage in for the day. It's an easy trail system and not too long but unfortunately we missed roughly 3 km of trail somehow due to confusing signage.

Awesome!! That's the goal. We're from Ontario, Canada and can't say enough good things about Michigan's outdoor recreation set up. Your state has it figured out with your ridiculously cheap Recreation Passport. What you can access with that would cost us literally thousands of dollars! A 10 yr. passport to cross the border costs me the exact same amount as a one year bike pass to ride 2 trails in my area, none of which are worth the gas money to get to. Nice riding. Harold Town is fairly close by and is another place that you've featured, that sits high on my to-do list. I appreciate the thorough footage you guys provide; because while I get that attention spans are short these days, quick highlight reels and snippets are tough to go by when it's a place of interest. I've seen a few clips and videos and none of them have shown some of the cool features that I'm seeing here. 🙏

Durham is my local trail and you guys ride it better than I do. 😆 It's always cool to see how it looks from the POV of others. Fun fact...It took me a minute to realize that your lead rider was actually wearing a beige hydration pack, rather than it being long dirty blonde hair flowing from under his helmet. 😆

It's not the bike. Unfortunately I had a ton of footage recorded before I got a software program to start editing and didn't realize that my backpack chest strap buckle had been chattering against my go pro mount. The problem has been solved but what's done is done.
So I thought I had it solved but apparently not? The sooner I figure this out the better as I know it is annoying, my apologies for that.
