Celia, Despairs Messenger was not a very efficient finisher. Though had the major upside of not being a dead card on earlier turns. It can be played as a 2 play point 2/2 or an efficient 5 drop. And for the final turn, any direct damage to face is better than nothing. Even if it is not very efficient.

This accursed deck deserved to die after the update but nooooo it had support for (iirc) four straight sets... It was a nightmare for non sword players who were trying to climb... (war flashbacks).

this deck was bonkers, we used to run zelgenea as an alt wincon with this as luxblade could sustain the self damage and outlast nearly every deck minus haven

UC was when I first seriously started my Shadowverse journeys, and ambush sword is the one that hinder me the most lol. Back then I pushed to Master using Natura Rune, and I put Bazooka Goblin just to tech ambush sword. I laugh every time I see them malding when I destroyed their Leod on T3 😂

As much as I love Twin gods, and think it strong to justify being in almost every deck. It is nice with the throwback to not see them constantly along with the other twin card that escapes me (the 3 play point that draws two and restores life)

I dont blame you hwale, i quit playjng like 4 months ago after being a diehard GM chaser for 7 years. I got tired of being sacked by the cpu constantly at 9000+ and just all the stuff going on with SV...i moved to YGO again which i initially started TCGs w back in 05 after a 7 year hiatus ( i found SV lol) and even tho ygo is sort of whack too i just play dark world and a few other decks to just try and have "fun" but i feel where u coming from. I might try the throback formats a lil but ehh idk..anyhoo i really appreciate what u did for the community for SV and loved ur SV channel hwale! Thanks for all the grinding u did and hilarious commentary ❤❤!

Dimension Dominator is the same character as Imperator of Magic. Specifically seeming a future version of him. 10/10 implied character development. Same with Darhold, Abyssal Contract. Guy got an entire anime plot in 2 cards.
