Great video, you talk about tools needed, gap size, torque value, good tips. Thank you!
Tip for your next video. Try and keep the camera still with slower more fluid motion. The quick back and forth makes for unwatchable content
Thank you for the tip, I really appreciate the feedback
How did you isolate that part as being the problem. Our Furrion pilot light will not light. Trying to figure out why and if something is not working correctly.
A lot of communication with Furrion customer support. They were awesome to work with. I have found that All of the lippert divisiions have awesome customer service.

Rohn, two comments. 1. You should pressure wash the motor. 2. Current diesel manufactures are replacing the keyways with a pin. On the crank and cam shafts. Does your motor have this?
Thank you for your comments, I do need to pressure wash the engine compartment, it has been a while. I was unaware of the issue with the pins instead of the keyway, I will check on this, I know that is an issue with the GM engines.
Ram recommends that you do not pressure wash the engine bay as it can cause water intrusion issues.
@@bluesfool1 Thank you
What did you torque the shackle bolts to?
I could not find a torque spec, I decided to go with 80 foot-pounds. Since the nuts have teeth, I felt that was tight enough.
Fast forward to 16:46 to skip watching him plan his trip. Also, you have to have the GPS plugged into your computer to transfer the file, not sure why he had to go out to his truck to show the trip on the GPS.
This was super helpful! Thank you for sharing
Glad it was helpful!
Which Garmin are you talking about?
I have the Garmin 890 RV
How did the Trip Wizard route go from your Garmin folder in your computer to the unit in your truck?
I uploaded the file while the garmin was attached to my computer using the USB cable

Holiday Rambler makes some very nice rigs, but the Xpedition is a copy of several other class B's that have been out there already. Is there anything unique or innovative in this particular model?
Thanks for the comment and question. I think one of the best things about this van is its length and the complete package, including the Diesel engine. That provides better fuel mileage and better towing capacity. I have looked at a lot of class B units, and the power train in this unit is what makes it special.
You should of put the grease fitting on the inside. Nice job
Thank you

Great job made it ,simple.

This is completely wrong please get your facts together.. i can't believe what i just watch... horrible advice just saying
When installing the single bolts, make sure the tiny hole (where the grease comes out) is pointing at 3 or 9 o"clock.
You are correct, thank you for pointing this out.
I have an2011 Tundra and I would like to mount my 6 inch ipad mini or my 8 inch Garmin Drivesmart 86 to this.
Sorry it took me so long, Please check with Bullet Point Mointing, TI do not see any options for your truck on thier site but that may be able to suggest options www.bulletpointmountingsolutions.com/
When the grease hardens like that, just warm the the end of the spring with a good heat gun, and it should take grease. Why would you go to all the trouble of replacing the bolts and not replace the bushings?
Thank you for the response, I wish that were the case, You would have to remove the pin and heat them up and that does not always work, it dependes on how long ago they pins were lubricated. For me, replacing the pins is better, It takes less time and I can be assured the grease takes right away, instead of removing the pins then heating them up and the grease does not soften. Then I have to put them back together and order the pins and go through the process a seond time.
Question how did you jack up the fithwheel
I leveled the rig with the instlled jacks and then used a floor jack
Was hoping you would describe the driving test for class A non-commercial DL.
Camera in one hand, steering wheel in the other. All while commenting on your content. May be we all do this to some extent but it takes guts to publish it on RUclips!
Do you know if this works on Android Auto?
I will check for sure, as long as you use the RVTripwizard app on your phone it should work.
Looks like they are working on it. I asked RV Life and here is the reply Not quite yet, soon. Android Auto will be beginning a staged beta soon with RVL staff invited to the beta first, then users identified as interested second, and finally a small, more public offering at iRV2. You'll see info being posted about this in the coming days.
8:34 WTF. YOU CANT JUST DRILL SCREWS INTO TOP HES GONNA HIT HOSES WIRES ECT. WARRANTY VOIDED. Hope All Is Well. Installers 1 out of 10 are good
Hi Joey Thanks for th comment, please be asured that this was done with a kit designed by Splendide, to attach the dryer to the top of the washer, they used a template to make sure they drilled holes in the correct place. The warranty is intact.
If you want to download your RVTrip Wizard trip, here are the steps. I will put out a video to show this being done. 1.Create the route in RV LIFE Trip Wizard. 2.Download Trip created in RV LIFE Trip Wizard as a .gpx file > Wrench icon > Download to GPS > Select GPX format (The trip will download to the "Downloads" folder with the same name as was in RV LIFE Trip Wizard). 3.Start Base Camp and set the filter button (at bottom of the screen) to display "Tracks". Files transfer as Tracks, not Routes 4.Highlight the folder you want the just created file to reside in. 5.Select File and Import File to: "file you highlighted previously" see above. 6.Navigate to the file (trip) you want to download located in the computer's "Downloads" folder. It will have the extension .gpx. Select the file (trip) from the dropdown box and select Open. Note: Each leg of the trip will be imported into Base Camp as a separate Track with a different name; generally the new name will include the start and end points of each leg. 7.Tracks must be converted to routes before they can be transferred to the GPS.( Make sure the filters are set to show Tracks). 8.Select a just downloaded track and make it active. 9.Double-click on the track. A pop-up box will display. Click on the “Create Route” icon at the bottom of the pop-up box. It takes a few seconds to create the route. 10.Make sure the filters are set to show “Routes” Rename the Route by making the Route active > right-click on the route > rename 11.Convert each Track to a Route as above until all Tracks (Legs) are converted to Routes. 12.Each route can now be exported to the Garmin device.
You can import the trip to the Garmin. I’m on my first time trying this, and haven’t decided yet if I like doing that as well as putting where i’m going each day.
Thanks for sharing that, Do you have the steps to tranfer the trip?
I learned how from a RUclips video. You have to use Garmin Basecamp.
Thank you, I will check it out
I don't think I need to go to Texas that bad and I'm surely not going to California!
TX can NOT force a non-resident to meet their standards. You ONLY must meet your home state rules.

Hi can you help me? I need to add a stop to an already saved trip on my Garmin RV 890 from trip wizard and I haven't figured out how to. Thanks
That is an easy one, Add the stop at the end of your trip, Then On the left side of the item there are some dots, if you hover over the dots with your mouse, you will see the cursor change to a cross, click the left mouse button and hold it down while moving that entry where you want it.
@@rvweekenders7262 I know how to do that on my computer but when it's on the Garmin, there doesn't seem to be a way to add to an already saved trip.
I was not able to add a stop either, I have reached out to RVTrip wizard to get an answer@@mooreroadstotravelon3
Here is the response from RV Life This requires a couple of steps so buckle up and we will walk through it together. Once you have the process down, it will be easy to do and you will be making it happen. 1.With the RV Life app open select the Trips button in the bottom center of the app screen. 2. Select the trip you wish to modify from the list that appears. These are trips you created on your PC through the Trip Wizard platform. Typically, the trip you're looking to add to is in your Active trip folder as compared to Tentative or Archive. 3. Once you've selected the trip the next screen will have the name of the trip, trip details, a Download Trip button and just to the right a "pencil" icon. Tap the pencil icon. This actually takes you into Trip Wizard through your browser. At the bottom of the screen you will see "Trip, Map, Research, Account." 4. Select "Trip" which provides you the stop details associated to that Trip. Enter the location you wish to add in the search window at the top of your screen and select the magnifying glass which will desplay your search results. Select the location you wish to add. 5. Next, tap the "Map" button at the bottom of the screen which will then show you the pop up related to that stop as you would see it on your PC using Trip Wizard. 6. Tap the "Add to Trip" button, select the location for the stop to be added (Add this Stop After) and once the location is selected then tap "Add to your trip." 7. Go back into the RV Life App and reopen the trip you just added the stop to and the stop will appear in the location you selected. You can then navigate to that stop accordingly. Trip Wizard is our central platform for planning trips which is why the App interfaces with Trip Wizard on your phone/tablet. However, we do not recommend that you try to create multi-stop trips just using the RV Life app. I hope this helps @@mooreroadstotravelon3
@@rvweekenders7262 Thank You So Much!!!! I will try this! You're the best!
I didn't know the trip wizard showed up on CarPlay. I'm glad about that, just took it on a test run and it will take some getting use to. It's not as detailed as the maps app that shows stop signs, traffic lights etc. I plan on using it on my next RV trip, just wish the navigation was better.
If you cut the inlet and outlet pipe back 6 to 8 inches and install fittings then use flexible pipe (white with braided reinforcement) it will be even quieter. Total isolation is the goal.
Thanks I will try that
Thanks for the excellent video. We’re purchasing a MH with a Furrion cooktop (same as yours) but no oven. I want to install my own 2 knob Furrion oven just like yours so I was thankful I got to see how the rear support bracing was constructed. I have 2 drawers to remove then will need to insure the opening is the correct size. Also kudos to you for having the fortitude to replace your own gas valve.
Glad it was helpful! Let us know how your project comes out
Amateur newbie or just plain knucklehead! # 1 all your pipes must be isolated from each other other and secured properly # 2 isolate the pipes from the vibration of the pump by placing 6 inches of flexible water hose at the intake and discharge side of the pump ! The noise is the pump vibration being amplified and transmitted by all your loose piping
Enjoy your videos! I love my Garmin 895. I also use RV Trip Wizard to build my trips. What dash cam are you using and how do you like it?
Thank you, We are using a VanTrue Dual 1440p QHD Dash Cam, We love it, Works really well.
I need to change my pump and i'm looking for a more silent one. I came into this video, it seems to work better

Your welcome
Hello Folks, didn't catch where y'all are moving from but welcome to Texas, I'm not too familiar with Dallas/Ft.worth area I'm from the Alamo City, more commonly known as San Antonio (born here but raised in the midwest) a few hours south of you. I'm retired and actually tried to retire in my home city but I just couldn't get used to the scorching hot unbearable summers in San Antonio. I decided to move back to more realistic 4 season type weather and visit my hometown in the winter months. Again, welcome and I hope you can tolerate super hot summers,...I couldn't. 🥵
We are from Central California, I sure hope we can deal with the Heat and Humidity. Thank you for the Welcome.
Where did you move to and from
Hi Ron and Stephanie. We're your neighbors in the Connect, at the RV Ranch. I'm enjoying your videos and look forward to meeting you. I'll help you with any suggestions that I can about the area. Have a great day.
Hi Ted, Thank you for reaching out, We would love to meet,
Hello, where did you purchase the replacement Knob Assembly / Gas Manifold? I am having the same exact issue and Lippert wants me to buy a brand new oven!! Crazy!!
We went right to Lippert/Furrion, it was the only place to get it. Here is the Email thread so you have the part number and phone number. Thank you for your response. Based on the info you provided, it sounds like this would be an issue with the valve assembly. Here's the part number for the valve assembly-2021124144. The price for this without shipping/sales tax is $141.95. You can give us a call to place this order if you would like, our number is 432-547-7378.
One thing I learned is keep a thermometer in the oven and put the knob to 400 until it warms up then put the knob down to 350. I hope this helps. Good luck.
Here is the Thermometer we purchased at Amazon amzn.to/3Qvhvrl
@@rvweekenders7262 thank you!! I spoke with their customer service and they mentioned there was only 1 part that was user serviceable and it did not fix the flame going out abruptly issue. I am hoping the valve assembly is the issue! Thank you soooo much!
