2015 Ford Expedition Rear Mode Door Actuator Change.
Tips to changing a rear mode door actuator. My particular car was making a loud clicking noise and also blowing hot air in the third row seating whether the air was on cold or warm.

Aren’t there two actuators back there ?
Yes. One controls the mode (roof vents vs floor vents), and the other one is the heater blend door actuator (hot vs cold air).
Link for the part ?
Thanks. Your video was very helpful
I liked and subscribed and never got my iced icee
Strange, I changed the part and I am still getting the clicking noise. I changed the upper actuator. Is there a second one lower down?
Mine doesn't click but if that's bad can it cause no cold air in the back
Thanks for the informative vid 👍
Thanks! Same issue and same fix in my 2017. 👍🏻 I have cold air again and no more clicking. Strangely enough though, my old rear actuator would not turn by hand.
Hey thank you sir, I just told my husband about this
What was the motorcraft part # for this?
Thanks! You just saved me a bunch of time and frustration. Greatly appreciated.
This is like the ONLY video on YT for the rear control. Thank you for posting this.
Did the cup holder just pull out ? I have to change my front and rear
Excellent video thank you I had the same problem
What was the part number and where did you get the part from?
What is the part number for that?
Hey, I have 2017 I’ve notice that AC works great, but no heat will come on back there. However, I don’t have any clicking noises? Think it could be the actuator is just shot and not even trying to turn?
Did you fix this issue? I have a 17 Navigator with the same issue. The cold doesn't get that cold and the heat is just room temp feeling.
