The output of the current is depends what type of inverter you have I take all the way up to 50 kW 47 A .the emulator It’s open source like you can see in the description is a link . You can find it online and buy it yourself and come compiling it depends where you come around world :)And can be different to find the go lilygo Esp32 board
@@michaelp8563 thank you!, we are from Ukraine, preparing for winter) We have DEYE 50 kW, but the question arose, how much power can be obtained from one Tesla battery (maximum DC current)... I heard that DEYE has some current limitations (supposedly one input cannot be loaded more than 50A each, i.e. the maximum current from the battery, if two inputs are connected in parallel, is about 100A). The DEYE representative did not give a clear answer...

Yes im running the settings with internal Bms and contactor i think if I understand your question you can get the +and - from a running car and make the same

How does it off if something goes wrong? Where is the BMS control? Oh ya, it’s got a built in self destruct mechanism in case of a catastrophic problem. Hope you got good insurance on your home.
Wil advice you to check another video of mine where are internal Bm’s make it to work and as extra securit have I build a extra max min shunt to cut of in case of extra voltage or temperature

Hello. Great to see your video. I also have the same inverter but the 30kw 3 phase version. I am currently using it fine with 1 Renault Kangoo EV battery 36kWh and was planning to use the second battery input for a different sized battery (larger and maybe Tesla M3). I have been wondering about the behaviour of the parallel 2 battery setup using BMS Can bus for both and wondered if you could explain more how it behaves? You mentioned 1 battery discharging into the other? I was planning on regulating the max charge/discharge rates for each of the 2 batteries to keep the SOCs in sync more or less.
I have the solution of conecting a 2 different battery to my old setup 2x Froniusgen24 in that case I use a phyton script on a rsp4 to calculate the state of charge from voltage of one battery and transfer the data to the battery emulator, in this scenario with deye wil make the sane method when I have time but right now a have test the 2 battery only via ,, determinate SOC from voltage” the problem is if you have different voltage like a have battery 1 400v and bat2 200v will discharge from big one to the small one if the voltage of battery 2 is close wil by no problem
@@michaelp8563 ok thanks for your reply. Yes the instructions for the inverter do warn that you must use 2 batteries with the same capacity but it goes into no detail about how the parallel behaviour is controlled. I guess it must have some way of getting the 2 batteries in sync with each other and probably just by getting the SOCs to match. I will be using the lithium BMS mode with 2 emulated BMS for the different batteries but the parallel is just such an unknown at the moment. Another question I had was on the M3 battery interface. I see you are now using the battery emulator and interfacing to the can bus of the battery. Does that mean you are also using the standard battery packs contactor control now rather than your own?

Ok great thanks. So with 2 batteries does it just try to balance the voltages of each to be the same? Do you think with BMS mode it would just try to keep the SoC in sync? Did you experience any limitations using the internal BMS and contactor control? I heard that the contactor opens if you try to pull more than 11kw from the pack? (Maybe you didn't ever try this). Any other issues or limitations using the Tesla pack directly? Thanks!

Hi Michael, thanks for showing what you have done, you should be proud if it. I also have a Model 3 battery that I want to use to power my home. Could you explain in a little more detail how you managed to overcome the Tesla battery management electrics in the penthouse. I can connect 240vAC mains but that in itself does not charge the battery because of all the computer circuits and how did you incorporate the Tesla BMS systems or did you connect 3rd party BMS system? I see from your Update video that you seem to have removed the main central board (it seems we can see through the penthouse to the wall behind! :) ). So I assume you have bypassed whatever that board was doing. I know many others want to use the Model 3 battery but there is little on the Internet of how to do it. You are pathfinding! :)

@@michaelp8563 have you noticed any imbalance between cell bricks? Typically they should be within a few millivolt.
