Early morning drive with my son to #Antseys which is in the Bluff area....#Shad came out a wild bite for hours... It was a good quick morning rush catching some early morning...lol We then stop for some breakfast at this nice coffee shop / Nursery then cooked some shad for supper🙂👍🎣

Not an easy place to fish when fishing on the rocks...very dangerous if you have the experience cause the rock structure is very high...but it is q very good fishing ground.

Not bad for first attempt. Use eggs the next time u make.. It helps with bonding everything together.. Keep the fish slightly larger pieces.. As u mix they get smaller. And once ure done mixing take a small bit.. Fry it for taste.. Then adjust salt n carryon. Weldone once again. I usually use flat heads.. Theyre perfect for fish cakes.

At the beginning I was using my 11ft Assassin Rock Hopper....then towards the end I use my 3 piece...long butt..10ftt Assassin Surf Edge...top rod!
Howzit Keegan. Agreed, that blacktails are tastier as compared to Shad. My late grandma (old Bluff / West people) always waited for her favourite fish i.e. blacktails whenever my late dad, his brothers and his colleagues (old legendary West Fishermen from the 50's & 60's) went fishing....She's always stated that these were tastier fish....and they came from the "old fishing families of the West." Greetings from Prof Vijay I have been following your videos for a while now and enjoy them thoroughly. I like your casual approach and pleasant manner. I am a casual fisherman and do not get much of an opportunity to fish. Unfortunately when I do get to the beach I somehow choose the beach on a day that fish are rarely on the bite. You on the other hand are mostly on the button from Virginia to Ansteys to Ifafa to Ilovo. Well done
