No it’s copyrighted material so I couldn’t/wouldn’t release it for streaming platforms But maybe the Marleys will pick it up and release it someday? Tag them and we’ll see. Bless up

The bottom row is mapped to either a second delay or another verb. Each track is different Top is always spring reverb otherwise it depends on the instrument I’m effecting. But you can map to any source you choose. They don’t all have to be the same

Hmm that’s a weird one. I do experience serious glitching and frustration with the Launch Control xl but usually I just re map and try again. It typically works after a time or two. I find it helps to always map the volume faders last. But there is certainly a lot to be desired with that controller. I mostly use it for fun, not recording

It does not work great with Logic. Super glitchy at times and always have to reassign mapping because it gets off and jumbled frequently.

Yes of course! The automation will write the effects you send on the track but it gets screwed up if you try to write more than one track at a time.

Thanks. Yes I like to also control the feedback on the tape delay and also love using a rotary knob to control a high pass filter and/or a band pass. For some sweeps. I try to keep it basic and easy for the tutorials for viewing simplicity. But thanks for the idea. I’ll make a more in depth vid soon.

@@Oddiowaverecords Awesome looking forward to it. The more I mess around the more I wish I had external controls for EVERY parameter, but then I know I’d get overwhelmed trying to perform and forget what’s what. You’re right, got to keep it somewhat simple.

Hi there, thanks. Good question. I actually use automation when I produce tracks that I release. I prefer the ability to edit and adjust anything I do, including but not limited to delay feedback and audio levels. The rub is that you kinda have to do the tracks one at a time. Otherwise things go haywire. I’ll start with the drums and then move onto my other groups one at a time, throughout the entire track. Until I have them all dubbed, then do some editing and mixing in post. There is still the live production element as I’m processing effects in the same way, but would be nice if there was a way to write the automation all together at once. Maybe a suggestion for Logic Pro X next update.
