Northampton North-West Relief Road - 24/06/2024 (Nearly there!)
This is the "half" which leads to Harlestone Firs, you'll notice signage has been erected, some of the surrounding footpaths have been tarmacked too. I'm a little surprised the road is as narrow as it is, and, can you spot the "queues likely" sign!?

Half of the Relief Road has been developed, the remaining half is yet to be started. This video outlines the proposed route of the remaining half.

Thanks for showing that. I wonder when and if it will ever get finished !!! Presumably the house builders will end up get access from Kings Heath rather than from having to building the road first.
Thanks John, I recall seeing March 2025 as a completion date, it’s the final stretch.
@@NorthamptonAir-wz4ri I recall seeing that as well. Also that planning permission is still under negotiation, particularly for the mix of houses, as is some land purchase. House building and sales seems to be dropping off locally so I think March 2025 is just a statement from WNC and they have no control.
A very expensive bit of road that achieves very little until the other stage is completed.
Correct, I will try and get some footage of the “other end” at some point…
