Really? MSM requires etudes? I didn't play any etude for either MSM audition (BM and MM). That being said, I did learn this etude and use it for auditions at other schools in 2016. I have actually a video on my channel from November 2015.
Guys, thank you so much for your supportive comments! Since maestro N.Kapustin died this year (may he rest in peace), I am planning to record the entire op. 40 ASAP and put it on RUclips once it’s done. This recording was a live performance - my graduation recital in the Palffy palace, a building of the Prague Conservatory.

I feel really awesome for you! But I consider that you performed their pieces in classic-romantic style such like Tchaikovsky or Schumann. So I wish I would say that you have to make them a lot more in jazz style!

The fugue is awesome, although it seems like the hardest one in book 1. Also it is really effective to use the middle pedal for holding the low A
