Reshoot: GORGEOUS SCHINDLER 5500 ELEVATORS at the Cheval Condominium, Bethesda, MD
This is a reshoot of the elevators at the Cheval condominium in Bethesda. There was an open house up on the penthouse. These elevators are keycarded, but the lady at the front desk was more than happy to take me up. Riding an elevator to a floor that’s not the top floor is better than a locked out elevator.
Based on with the building says, the R level is the rooftop terrace.
I tried to go up the stairs to the rooftop level, and there were two doors (not double doors but two separate doors) and one of the doors I tried were locked, and I assumed that the other one was locked, too. There was another stairwell that goes up to the roof (I think), but I thought that if that stairwell serves the...

I was going to see an open house there, and these were previously Schindler elevators with RT fixtures, but now they have been modded. I like how the door open buttons are steadily lit up green. Installed in 1991, modded in 2023 3 elevators in building

These elevators are so amazing, it looks like they have been modded some time ago. I came here to see an open house on the 10th floor. I then decided to go up to the 18th floor then down to the lobby after. I also decided to show one of the stairwells, and it has LED lights installed in it. Year built: 1975, modded in 2021? These elevators were built as an addition to the 1st tower. This building was built in 1975, when these were old otis elevators. They were modded in 1998 to a newer otis elevator, and were slap-on modded in 2013.

These were originally Otis with touch sensitive elevators in 1967, they were modded again in 1991 to Dover, and now, these were last modded in 2019.

The speaker in the stairwell is not a fire alarm (from what I know), the audible fire alarm devices are mechanical bells.
