Could you try Stewed And Keefed???
Wow!!!👍👍👍
I'm not a Stones fan and I can only think of two of their songs that I like, Gimme Shelter and the live SFTD on the Get Your Ya Yas Out album. Great job on this one. ( Seven years later)
Well thanks a lot. In seven years I even did it again in split screen so I could figure out how both guitars played one against the other. ruclips.net/video/rg3eT9Ormc8/видео.htmlsi=7UNdzFSeLP_kkZwV
@@lespaultexasburst2847 I'm going there now.
You added lots more beeps and burps than the record had
Yeah, maybe I got carried away a bit
tabs?
So many of us would love to be able to ace this. You have. I see that you've gone for close as possible tone to original. Good work, and great playing 👍
Thank you. To be honest, I never thought I’d play Taylor’s solo 10 years ago. I started to learn it out of curiosity, along with a few other things from Taylor. But the more you play it, the more « logic » it seems. It just takes passion, repetition and patience. In terms of sound, I tried to be close but.. :-)
Smiling all the way through this, absolutely brilliant
Thank you man !
That's one of the most infectious tunes ever created. Great job on that picking pattern. Great, ringing sound from your guitar too. This is a keeper. Wish I could see all of that D chord. I'll have to fool around with it. Thanks for posting!
Brian Jones’ solo. Raw and totally made for this song! Just shambling along! Beautiful!
That’s definitely a Keith Richards solo. It’s already full of all his signature licks. Brian, who can of course play a good solo as well, is playing the rhythm part oh this one.
@@lespaultexasburst2847 yep, you are right. A very raw sound. I wonder what guitar he was using. Maybe a black lp custom. I always do this one in my solo gigs. Love it, and the Last Time. Both songs just roll along, but get there in the end!
@@lesbois53 That was a few years before the black LP custom. It was the first song they recorded at the Chess Studio in Chicago (2120 South Michigan Ave) and these sessions are quite well documented, with pictures and all. Keith was still playing his Epiphone Casino at the time. Brian plays his Gretsch Anniversary. The unusual "raw" sound may come from the Fender Amps they found there (A heavy Fender "Concert" model) and of course the notorious Chess recording booth. All the tracks recorded there are gigantic.
@@lespaultexasburst2847 Wow! A font of knowledge! Thanks mate. Now I know. I was a big Beatles man back in the 60’s, being born up there. I saw them many times, before fame and afterwards. The 60’s in England were a blast! Never had it so good since! I am 80 now, living in France for many years, and still performing live. Good luck to you. No parole from rock and roll!
@@lesbois53 started out a Stones fan but of course became a Beatles fan as well. Never had the chance to see them though :-)
Wow! That was great! Just heard the song for the first time yesterday and the guitar made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, going to have to try to learn it myself and this video will really help, Cheers mate.
You’re welcome. If it helps a single person, that’s worth it !
Fuck me that was incredible! Chapeau!!!
Thank you ! Trop gentil :-)
Nice job. Thanks. 🙏
all right, thank you, i will use this as my tutorial. i've been hoping for someone to do this, great job man,
A bit sloppy at times if you ask me :-) But this gives people the general idea :-).
It's All Over Now certainly wasn't on Aftermath.
Just brilliant.
There is no lesson.
Most excellent!!!!Well done

Best cover I’ve seen so far. Maybe it’s doing it with two guitars? Either way-thank you!!
Refreshing in these days of bull crap and boredom.
Thanks for doing an excellent cover of one of my favorite 70s bands. Can u please do a cover of The Subhuman off of their 1st live albums. Thanks again.
Sweeeeeet job. Fantastic.
Great job. Nothing on this planet sounds better than Chuck Berry double stops
Hello, beginner here! I'm trying to learn this song but I'm having trouble with the tone. May I ask how you achieved this?
Hello. That’s a tricky question :-) First, I’m not even sure I achieved this. Ideally, you need a tube Fender amp, with Fender reverb, and a quite powerful one (Twin Reverb or Super Reverb). I just used a simulator (GarageBand) and tried to get close but it’s almost impossible (she plays quite loud and on the verge of larsening). I used a P90s guitar with high level output but it’s unclear to me which guitar she used then. Maybe the Bill Lewis model she used on the first albums. Smell of female is a transition album to the one where she starts playing her 6120 Gretsch. Anyway, stay away from humbuckers or thinny single coils when it comes to play the Cramps. Use quite heavy gauge. She uses 11-48 at least. She doesn’t do any bluesy bends and heavy gauge gives you that firm sound on the chords. There’s a few tricky parts but it’s a really good song for a beginner (the whole Cramps repertoire can teach you a lot). Now there’s the fuzz solo. Ivy uses a Univox Superfuzz which are quite hard to find these days. I use a Tone Bender myself. But you can approximate that solo sound with any fuzz. As long as you don’t let it squeal too much and use it mainly to get that sustain on single notes. Every beginner should have a fuzz in my opinion. Anyway, I hope this helps :-)
@lespaultexasburst2847 First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I wasn't expecting a super complete answer, I'll definitely write the name lespaultexasburst2847 on the list of the coolest people I've met in my entire life. I took notes on everything you said and I will definitely put it to good use, I promise 🫡. Even if I don't think I can make the perfect sound, I hope I can get close to it. I was pretty lost before and this clarified it a lot. thanks again <3
Sound is correct not too distorted if not all. Too much distortion would distroy the feel of this song. Rhythm is correct not so easy to play really. Great 👍thanks
Thanks. I agree lots of people over distort, I try not to.. and keep a bit of clarity.
Very nice! I love the old Stones. I only play old Stones songs.
Thanks a lot
5 STAR.
Showwwww👍👍👊👊👊
Great tone on both the guitars man. Love the lead part in this version, always makes me come back to it instead of the original track.
Excellent , beautiful song
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Open G???
Standard tuning, like lots of Stones songs.
Bought that stones album AFTERMATH -in 1967 --I am now 74 !
OK THANKS ---that stones sound /tone --of this song --from the sixties --really hard to replicate with modern overdrive/ chorus/ delay settings !Wonder what fx they used on ITS ALL OVER NOW ?
Cant see your fingers --what chords are you playing ? any tab ?
I may have written down the solo tab somewhere. I can try to find it.
love it and thanks for capturing that raw 60s sound.
Plug a Gibson on a Fender tube amp with no pedals and you’re almost there.
Are you kidding? I've been trying to learn how to play that song since 1964.
lol. I wasn’t born yet but I’ve also been obsessed with that number for quite some time now. One day I decided to tackle it. Slowly first. This was no piece of cake.
Mick Taylor is the greatest!
He had a great bag of tricks for sure, at a very young age. But maybe not such a big bag compared to players with a longer career.
Just so sick!!!
Indeed. Quite a strange composition.
One of the most bitchin guitar solos ever
