I think this is Mt Pleasant high school stadium. I think this was the last year Eddyville was in our district for state contest before going to contest in the Pella/Des Moines region.

I am pretty sure this is Davis County(Bloomfield) high school. That day was absolutely freezing, and it was snowing off and on during the day. 1986 was Burlington, 87 Bloomfield Davis County, 88 Mt Pleasant, and then state was then moved to Muscatine, and in future years alternated with Davenport Central for our region. I think Eddyville moved out of our region in the late 80s. Eddyville is my favorite band in class 2A in Iowa, amazing how consistent they are with such a small group of students in the high school to work with The staff there is amazing.

7:09. There are no words to describe that saxophonist. And I've heard that the director wrote the show himself, and did a great job.

It is a cool show and all but it is just not an Oskaloosa Show. I remember Oskaloosa Marching Indians as the team who would do challenging and complex drill. Have Colorguard work that was also challenging and interesting. The Drumline/Pit doing unbelievable things. What happened to that band? The drill is easy the Colorguard work is not as challenging as it use to be and the percussion parts are easer. Sure you are winning but you are no longer the Oskaloosa Band that I once knew

Oh, I know! Dallas Center Grimes performed at 9:30 and we had someone almost pass out it was so cold...We should have performed during the night, it looked a lot better.
