Hi, thanks for the comment! I know how frustrating this can be, the same things happened to me when I was a beginner, if you would like I could do a video on how to avoid the most common traps. You are exactly right though once you get them out of what little opening theory they have they often crumble. What I would say for now is: 1. Keep working at it, you seem passionate about the game and that can get you very far. 2. Don’t let these people discourage you, remember that they won't improve if they keep playing like this and you will. 3. Learn from your mistakes, these opening traps often only work if you play a specific move, try to identify it with the computer and try your best to memorise it. Thanks for the support, Jacob
