Building two 12X20 utility barns for Old Hickory buildings
Просмотров 88 тыс.6 лет назад
Go and buy a building for your back yard. You can customize it how ever you want it to be. Just go oldhickorybuildings.com/ and see where the closes sales lot or barn shop is from your house.
Buenas tardes ,que es el material exterior?
Great video! Thanks for making it!
Wonderful idea I will be doing it
I used a 5 ft. piece a cross, making it even more stable. I love It!
Have the exact same kayak- I think I’m going to try using a larger pipe going across the kayak and then slide a smaller one in so that I can drill a hole and put in a pin for easy removal for hauling. Does your set up interfere with hauling in back of a pick up? Thanks for posting!
I like this but I am wondering if they could be wider apart from the the kayak and also the floats larger in diameter say 6-8 inches in size and places like you have them in the rear on the kayak? I have an idea but not sure if it would work and I love working with PVC as a a sturdy material I know it makes great survival bows and hunting bows and am thinking on this. Please let me know what you think.
Nice setup. I think I'll have to build something similar with my Pelican. I'm a big guy so I might have the bumpers a little more low the. You have yours so they stabilize faster. But I love the setup. Great video. I appreciate it 🙏🏼
Cool, build!
Kayak stabilité
Good job Dude.
Great idea and great job! Thanks!!
have you thought about 1/2 galvinized threaded gas pipe off the shelf?
love this boat easy to move, very stable , comfortable after 2 hours of fishing
What is that other boat in the video during the test? that thing looks cool as heck.
Buy a boat. Problem solved
Hey bamarockstar, If you don't have anything nice to say, you shouldn't say anything at all: unless you're correcting an idiot, which is what I am doing. Consider yourself a corrected moron. Now hurry up, I think I hear your sister calling you. We know all about your kind from Bama.
TOP😮
You did a awesome job keep up the good hard work
They definitely make a difference. Nice video, sir! I made mine basically out of trash. I need to get a video made with them on the water yet, though. ✌️
Brilliant idea, thanks bro
Appreciate you bro! I’ve dumped my yak twice now. It’s gettin old. 😂
Two things that I noticed that may cause you problems. Number one is that the stabilizer's are running parallel to the sides of the kayak and this may lead to tracking problems on the water. The second thing is to do with the sweep of your paddle. I would shorten the front and lengthen the rear bars attached to your floatation devices. That will allow you to get more sweep with your paddle. I hope these suggestions help.
Should the stabilizers run perpendicular? I think that would just slow it down and make it harder to paddle.
Nice job !!!!!
$61.72 ace hardware
Very nice work
I want to put 4 bumpers on my kayak. Two in the rear and two in the front.
Would getting a raft not be a better idea?
What kind of screws were used to Secure it to the kayak?
Thanks!
Hi there What size of fender
what size floaters did you get??
The biggest ones the Walmart had
This will show how everything has came up in price. I bought exactly everything here and paid just under $100
nice, i wanna do this too
@@davids1924 I tried them out today for the first time and they worked amazing! The only thing different I had to do was put a screw in the pipe strap into the PVC to keep them from turning when the drag caught them.
Wow build 2 in a day and sell them for 9,000 usd each. What a money maker
Good job man. Looks pretty good to me 👍🏻
I like your idea its the simplest yet looks very stable. I carry my kayak on my suv. Is there a quick release system that I can use instead of the permanent clamp?
I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Will want to remove mine also so I'm thinking of using a coupler on both ends of main beam and securing the floats then by some sort of clip for when on the water.
When I finished high-school I went to work at a place called Strickland portable buildings, in Beaverton, AL. I was there for over 10 years before the price of diesel fuel got so high that they shut the plant down, but I had a hand in building some where between 35,000 to 40,000 of storage buildings.
Like your video very much.. Any chance you could post a material list? Thanks!
Good set up but your floats are too small. Once they are submerged they offer no more float. You need something that is a lot wider at the top so the deeper it goes the more float it creates.
Good job
Nice!
Great job simple and lower cost
No that can double for other mods as well
Looks fantastic. !!
I like this design, but I need to figure out a way to make it easily removable, so I can still load the kayak on top of the car.
Having the journey 10ss my plan is to slide the outrigger frame into the factory rod holders. Fastening that down once I'm on the water is going to be another challenge
What’s the name of the song?
AWESOME work sir.
Wow ….I am gonna try this too
Good idea, paint it
Thanks
I have the same kayak. Would it be possible to get your measurements for the pieces?
Looks like you put screws through the 2 hole straps into the pipe. I have the same kayak, thinking about doing a similar rig.
