One day i m going to get one, 98 model with leather seats and better looking head and tail lights. Nice choice with yours my friend. Enjoy your scorpio!

Hi, you can check out the realistic fuel consumption for this engine, on spritmonitor site, in my case on a normal driving conditions, I got around 8 liter/100KM combined.

With 80liters of fuel in the tank,i drive about 910km,driving in town and on highway

Yeah, provided it's a missile car. Low mileage & low price on these cars means that either it had an accident and there's a lot of shit hidden under the body work or it was a mess to begin with and nobody drove it in the first place.

@@robinkonig5828 Haven't seen an E39 with mileage lower than 200.000 unless the counter was fixed. And those good condition cars are usually 3500€ and up. But judging by your surname you're German. Heard the second hand market there is way superior to other European countries.

@E39ENTHUSIAST90 - They sure are! If they're maintained correctly, they'll treat you well. But if the last owner slacked on the maintenance then you'll have a huge problem on your hands. Luckily, the guy who owned mine last took amazing care of the car so very minimal work is needed to be done on my end.

My sisters friend is selling her 1998 model for cheap and I might be interested in buying it they said its been looked after well, my first car was a small hatchback, Mitsi Colt and I wasn't comfortable with the size and stuff and it felt small for me after driving it for a long time. How is the car in general and when it comes to smooth driving? Thanks in advance

@Ice Rydaa - If the car is properly maintained and doesn't have any serious problems, definitely go for it!! You certainly won't feel cramped in the Bimmer. There is so much headroom and legroom. The drive is very smooth as well. I've had the car for 2 months now and so far only had to replace sensors such as camshaft position sensors, oxygen sensors, wheel sensors, and transmission sensor. Spark plugs and coils needed to be changed as well. Otherwise, I've had no serious issues with this car *knock on wood*. The parts can be expensive but I would say these kinds of cars are worth the expense given the driving experience they provide.
