Are you sure you have the X-Series panel? the old IDS 816 has a similar keypad but does not have location 390

Try location 243, if it goes through its an X-series then try 446, if this goes through then its an 816 panel

That means the dedicated panic zone is the issue, do you know if you have the 16VAC X-series or 24VDC X-series panel?

Hi, on the panel you can have up to four stay profiles, for example, 1 profile could be for when you sleeping, you arm the doors and rooms that you want secured but leave your bedroom and kitchen or bathroom bypassed for example so you can wake up drink water or use the bathroom at night

Another profile would be for when you in the lounge but you want the other rooms to be armed but not the lounge or when you leaving kids ik the house and you want them to stay inside, you can bypass the whole inside of the house but leave the doors armed

Thanks how do I change between stay zones so when I push number 5 and hold it stay arm number 1 is activated but I would like to us stay 2

there is 3 ways to do it: 1. If you press and hold 5 by default it will arm profile 1, if you press and hold 5 again it will arm profile 2 and disarm profile 1. 2. You can select the default profile before arming by holding down the mode key, scrolling with panic to stay profile then pressing star to enter then pressing the profile number then * to make it default (2 * here to make profile 2 default) then whenever you press and hold 5 it will arm profile 2 first, then pressing and holding 5 again will arm the next profile. 3. If you have the installer code, you can program that whenever you hold down 5, the keypad will always ask you which profile you want to arm.

Hi, Flashing red LED means there is a trouble on the keypad (Low battery, Siren Trouble etc.).You need to hold down the number 7 key on the Keypad and it will display what the trouble is. once resolved the LED will be solid

I've had an installation that that's temperamental it was really difficult to enrol the sensors even though the panel and sensors plus receiver were all the correct spec. now the sensors go offline, and sometimes they come online if I reboot the panel. any idea what would cause that?

​@Wanderlust9WP There was a bug on the Xwave2 receivers where it would lose the sensors but get them back on a restart, you would need to swap out the receiver for one with a blue sticker where they fixed the issue but what you can try do is just default the receiver by putting all dipswitches down, powering off receiver putting all dipswitches up, powering up and leave it on for 5 seconds, power down again then put all dipswitches down and just leave the one that younare using then power up again, then wait for the trouble LED to stop flashing and only network is on then you can test and monitor again. This will just default the receiver and not delete the serial numbers.

Hi, if zone 14 is a wired zone, remove everything connected to zone 14 and connect just a 3K3 Resistor (it has orange orange red and gold bands). If the zone closes then the panel is fine, the issue might be wiring or the detector is not closing the zone.

To test the wiring without a multimeter, you can remove the resistor and wire it back to zone 14 but take out the wiring out of the detector and join the two wires on the detector side with a 3K3 resistor, if the zone closes the wiring is fine, if it stays open the cable is the issue.

If its a wireless zone, it might have lost connection to the panel, check if the power light is flashing, of flashing, it might be a battery issue, hold down number 7 key to check, you also might need to just remove the battery and put it back in to regain connection with the receiver, if issue persists, delete then re-add wireless zone

Hi, @cornellserfontein9778 you will need to enable the the trigger for the sub user using the master users phone, on the app, you will open the site > tap the 2 people icon at the top right to show users> on the list of users, tap the pencil icon at the top right > tap on the user that you want to edit> toggle on the trigger for that user > tap on save changes. The sub user will need to logout and log back in to see the changes.

How to program new alarm remote

Hi @05jpb in the video, i use a 3k3 resistor but you can also use a 2k resistor, if its a 12V LED like those bright ones you can get away without using a resistor.

Version 1.08 busy means the keypad is not communicating with the panel you can check if your data wires are connected correctly, default just the keypad by holding down 1&3 keys on the keypad, power down and power up while holding 1&3 then press # to register keypad. Lastly you can check the status LED on the panel, it should flash once every second, if its not then it might be a panel issue.

Its quite easy, it gets diificult when the router/modem is further away from the modem as the WPS signal is not as strong as the actual WI-FI signal, i always recommend you wire the HYYP wireless on a battery and put it next to the router, press the WPS button on the module and when the 3 green LEDs are flashing clockwise press and hold the wps button on the router for 3-5 seconds and 1 of the 3 green LEDs (Server Auth) will be solid to show that its online then you can take it back to the panel and it will auto connect but il post a video soon.

You can only have one person as a master, everyone else can only be added as a sub user
