Oil Pastel Value Pumpkin

A project I did with 4th grade. Day one we practiced making foreground, middleground and background on whiteboards, 2nd day we practiced making 3 different color value scales using tempera and day 3 we started our monochromatic value landscape project.

A fun and simple paper collage, perfect for elementary students of all ages. I've used this as a first day of school activity.
